When our travel agent offered us two standard rooms at the Grand Paradis, we checked its website. The rooms looked well decorated and comfortable, so we made a booking. What the agent didn't tell us (or didn't know) was that these were SUBSTANDARD rooms and bore no comparison to those on the website. The rooms we were given were the... More

We came to hotel paradis via bookings .com on a late deal. Couldn't,t believe it's location, directly on the slops in the middle of town. The welcome was first class, the room was brilliant, they even upgraded us without us even asking. The staff couldn't do enough. We we on half board, and the food was great. We didn't want... More

Just arrived back from Val for New year and this season we stayed in the Grand paradis, great location. The reception girls were lovely and very helpful and Caroline the Boss very great, the rest of the staff were very friendly. I will say that the bed was the hardest we have slept in and our children ended up sleeping... More

This really is the perfect location for a a great hotel if you want to ski in and ski out. The staff were the friendliest and obliging staff I have ever met in a hotel. We had half board which was ideal as it meant not having to think about where to eat when we had been skiing all day.... More

Fantastic ski in ski out hotel, great location, authentically appointed rooms with great view. Regarding food breakfast very disappointing with very basic selection not appetizing. Unlike their dinners which are really devine/fantastic. If anything brings them down it's inconsistent service from waiters, where some are very helpful and others have a very bad attitude and unfortunately it's the bad attitude... More

This hotel has a prime location in Val d'isere and the food is very very good. Service is pretty good and the rooms have great view over the ski tracks and mountains. You won't be disappointed.

Le Grand Paradis has the best location in Val d’Isère for skiing, overlooking the lifts to both Solaise and Bellevarde. Ski rental is just around the corner, and the main street shops are just a few steps away. We stayed in a south facing room, Austrian style, with a balcony overlooking the slopes. The room was cosy, with nice old... More

Just got back from a great 7 nights at this hotel, skiing. The location of this hotel is brillant - you can ski back to the hotel! The food was sensational - 5 courses all delicious. an amazing selection of cheeses with every dinner. Buffet breakfast excellent. No skimping on anything! Wine and drinks though are shockingly pricey at E31... More
