The location of this hotel is outstanding. Beautiful view of Lake Annecy, very private and most attractive. We stayed in one of the larger, superior rooms. The room was large, however, absolutely no view. The bathroom had recently been updated and was most attractive. However, there was no shower and the claw tub was nearly unusable due to the location... More

Easily the most memorable hotel I have ever stayed in. From the second we pulled up in our car we were blown away. The grounds of the Hotel are immaculate (as is the inside) and from the warm welcome at reception I knew this was going to be a good holiday. My partner and I stayed 4 nights in a... More

This is an attractive hotel in a beautiful setting. We stayed in October. On Mondays and Tuesdays the restaurant and bar were closed so we could not even get a drink. There is no coffee shop so we had to eat out, which was very expensive. We ended up buying cheese, bread and pate at the local supermarket and eating... More

Dear guest, thank you for having stayed with us and thank you for having taken the time to write this note. I am very sorry to read your impression about our hotel as I can hardly imagine that no one of our friendly staff was at your help concerning our weekly closing. I understand that this is not nice for... More

This was an old abbey that was built about 1600 and has been extensively refurnished over the years, I stayed here in 1979 and since then it has been greatly updated. The staff is first rate. Drinks in the garden by the lake front after a day's touring are very pleasant on a Autumn day. The lake water is extremely... More

Dear guest, thank you for taking time for your remarks, but I must admit I am a little perplex in reading this. We only stayed one night here but wanted to stay much longer, what a wonderful haven away from the madness of the hectic world. To celebrate our wedding anniversary, we stayed at this hotel last night. The hotel is beautiful, and our room with balcony on the 2nd floor was excellent. Having read the reviews, we looked forward to a high standard of refined cuisine at dinner. Instead, our meal was heavy, stodgy and bland. The so-called "surprise menu" for 70€ was, in fact,... The hotel is a historical hotel in a beautiful setting overlooking the lake and a private deck from which one can swim or take a boat.
