Five delightful rooms are available at this delighful herbergement. Each en-suite bathroom is fully appointed and an excellent continental breakfast is included.: served on a patio, part of the battiments, overlooking the beautiful countryside below... Both Dijon and Lyon are close-by: this small, quaint, authentic medieval city is certainly worth visiting for a night or two. The owner of the... More

Stayed here for 1 night in July. The building dates back to 14th century with many original features. Really thick walls which kept room cool on a blisteringly hot night. Friendly welcome from Madame. Room was a good size with a well equipped modern bathroom. Tea making equipment provided. Breakfast included in price which consisted of yoghourt, fresh croissants, pain... More

This is a very interesting little B&B with part of it dating back to the 13/14th century. The rooms are small but perfectly appointed with period or period looking furniture and decor, there is still everything you would expect from a 21st century hotel despite originating from the beginning of the previous millenium. You will be greeted by the charming... More

Very nice hotel in the fabolous place of Perouges... The style is perfectly in line with the medioeval environment... Good restaurant inside.... A little bit too expensive but it's a good place to relax body and mind....

Very friendly welcome. Great value. Stunning fortified village cobbled streets are tricky to walk on and not recommended to drive into village. Room spotlessly clean a bit on small side but plenty of character.

Staying here was over our usual budget so our expectations were high but we were not let down! The property is beautiful, the age of the building reflects the size of the rooms ( not massive, but by no means as small as many hotels these days!!) The furniture was all picked to suit the style of the house, the... More

We stayed in a comfortable double room called Les Remparts with good views outside the town. Not a large room or shower room but had everything we needed. A few steep stairs to get to our room but not a problem for us. Interesting house with a pleasant owner who had produced the calligraphy and artwork in the breakfast room.... More

Room was quirky and interesting with a nice bathroom, hotel had a lovely little terrace at the back with great views, which made breakfast a real delight, and we sat out in evening with a bottle of wine. Breakfast was good. Owner was very friendly. Great value for money. Lovely village - make sure you wear flat shoes as the... More

We stayed in the Remparts room for three days in May and really enjoyed our visit. Parking at the church was not a problem. Very good breakfast with unusual jams and the usual French breads and croissant. There is a sort of one way system which generally works, although coming across a fuel truck reversing towards us and having to turn... Stayed here in late May on our way north from the south. Loved the Inn, the manager was super nice, staying late to receive us. Though we reserved with a card she was fine with us paying cash which we preferred. Free parking just down the street, no problem. Did not understand the complaint about the cobbled streets, isn't that... More
