We agree completely with previous reviewers. Can't beat the location, which is within walking distance of everything - all major sightseeing locations and restaurants on both sides of the river. We had a VERY small room, no shower curtain on the shower stall - but we weren't in the room very much. One plus: free internet in the lobby! We... more

This hotel was an adequate base for our trip to Lyon. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable but the decor left alot to be desired. The shower was a real problem as it sprayed everywhere and there was no screen or curtain so the bathroom just became a puddle. The exterior of the hotel is dirty and the... more

Firstly on the plus side the Saint Antoine's location is right in the heart of the Presqueisle part of central Lyon. Within comfortable walking of a wide selection of restaurants, near some excellent shops, and across the river from Vieux Lyon if it is convenience you want then the Saint Antoine is an excellent choice. On many days outside the... more

I used a guide book to find this hotel as I didn't have anything booked in Lyon ahead of time and this looked like a good area. The hotel was in a great location, just around the corner from Rue Merciere, which had TONS of great little restaurants on it. The hotel room was standard- on the small side but... more

Small hotel only 100 metres away from the Saone river. Between the Rhone and the Saone.Small side street but the hotel has been renovated to a good standard. Rooms are not big, but very clean and well appointed. It is right in the Great restaurant quarter of Lyon. Very friendly staff who spoke really good English, the breakfast buffet looked... more

This hotel is in a very good location right near the footbridge over the river to the old town with a nearby underground parking lot on top of which is held the market on market days. The room we had was very small, a bit bigger than the bed with a nice bathroom. We did not eat breakfast there but... more

We paid 150 euros per night, not including breakfast, for a small room classified as 'large'. Room rates were almost double the advertised rates because of the rugby games during that period. The closet had little storage space and very poor access. The towel shelves in the bathroom were too small fo contain the towels so they kept dropping to... more

I moved here after two sleep-disturbed nights at Residence. My room was TINY. I mean, luggage barely fit. But, it was quiet and quite nice, bed was fine. The shower was refurbished but awkward. If you're tall and/or large do not get a small room/bathroom. The lobby here is pretty, and the sunroom/breakie room is very lovely. I didn't see... more

I booked a "deluxe" room for a conference in Lyon which had all the other hotels fully packed. The hotel is on a street with ladies of the night hanging out in the alley. These women hang out during the day in early evening so that even if you think you are not going out late, it will be a... more

We spent 5 nights at this hotel and were very impressed. Well located hotel just off the banks of the Saone 5 minutes walk across footbridge to old town. No restaurant but large and varied choice of bistros and restaurants within 2-5 minutes walk. Reasonably sized, quiet, comfortable air-conditioned room with good en-suite and hot drink facilities in room. Helpful... more
