This wouldn't even satisfy my expectations for a 3-star...let alone 4-star they claim. No air conditioning. Noisy location. There are better hotels more conveniently located from train station. The building is run down badly. Only one elevator working. Walls marked and desperately needing maintenance. Service at desk was not the nice friendly Lyonais way I've come to expect - but... More

Stayed here a couple of days because of conference at university that is close by. Arrived at 14.40h but was not allowed in room yet. Only after 15h. Bit strange. rooms are ok, with even cooking possibilities and fridge. Internet costs 1.05 euro per day. My room was on the inside of the hotel, overlooking a kind of inner court... More

Not recommended when travelling with family. The hotel was posted as a 4 star, however, it should be fairly advertised as a 3. My room was not even 3 star quality with fixtures and appliances. It would be an ok hotel to stay for a night when in transit through Lyon Part dieu.

Stayed here during a Contiki trip. Hotel was clean. Our room was right next to train tracks so it was quite loud at night. The food was average and the drinks were pricey. Finding the metro was quite difficult and walking back to the hotel after dark was a little sketchy.

DO NOT STAY THERE There we awefull stains on the walls, several of them. There was no AC. The room was visibly dirty. The bathroom door was half painted. They charged us for wifi... The room was only made available at 3pm. When I advised the staff, they simply agreed and acknowledged they had received many complaints in the past.... More

I arrived at the station by Rhonexpress(recommended) from the airport. It takes about ten minutes to reach the hotel. The rooms are spacious and include cooking facilities but the railway is at the back of the hotel so there is some noise. Rooms at the front are best. Breakfast includes sausage and scrambled egg and a good selection of cereals... More

Lyon is a great city, which has the feel of a a former, opulent capital. However, our stay in this hotel was one of the worst we have experienced. It started when we tried to enter the room we were given- the electronic card entry system did not work, nor the nearest lift. Once we traipsed down to reception to... More

This one is a bit interesting. If I judged it as a budget hotel it's a bargain, but as I paid Euro 139/Night, then I have to judge it by a different standard. (There was some kind of Xmas lights festivities bumping up the price. ) The room was ok, clean, functional, all TV channels in French only, a minor... More

Walking distance to Gare Lyon Part Dieu makes it an attractive choice. Price was reasonable. I overslept my breakfast, so I can't rate that. Why did I oversleep? The room was so hot that I had trouble sleeping during the night, and I ended up sleeping in the morning until the maid woke me up. The only windows open to... More

We ended up here randomly - booked because it was cheap and near enough to Gare Part-Dieu to walk with our luggage and two children. It was a basic, overnight stop off. Despite what other reviews say it was OK. The Bathroom was good, clean and seemed newly renovated. Our sheets were clean but the room wasn't pristine. We had... More
