The location of the hotel was perfect for us - close to the reailway station, a major metro station and adjoined to a large shopping mall. Also, it was an interesting experience to stay at a hotel whose reception is at the 32th floor and have a room at the 37th with magnificent views of Lyon. It is true, the rooms... More

Oustanding view from every room specially the ones facing the city center, discerning experience of staying within a Lyon Landmark, LCL Crayon. Good location, not far from the city center and close to Part Dieu Railway station. The Hotel for sure is past its initial glory and in need of a complete refurbishment of the rooms and of the common... More

The welcome on arrival can only be described as average, there were 3 trainees at reception doing their best but when asked for a recommendation for local restaurants just directed us to the city centre. The room was clean but needed a complete overhaul, orange wallpaper peeling at joins and carpet that was well past its best. We considered a... More

The Radisson Blu Lyon positions itself as a 4 star hotel and I'm sure it was at one time. Sadly those days are long gone. The location is great, the views are fantastic (especially) from the bar, but the fixtures are worn and the service is average. More

The Hotel needs an update. In the current condition I wouldn't recommend it. The building is actually quite astonishing from halls and corridors, but the unacceptable condition of the rooms ruins the package. Also the WiFi is quite poor and rates don't include breakfast. More

You cannot fail to be impressed with the building and its height with a reception on the 32nd floor and the superb views of the city from every window. The reception area and atrium were especially impressive, however as previous guests have stated the rooms were a little dated which was totally unexpected I have to say. However they were... More

To start with the hotel has some good points. The location is great, very close to the train station, I walked without issue. The staff are really nice, very friendly and helpful. The view is fantastic, one of the best city hotel views I have had. My room is also a great size. Here comes the but or buts..... Like... More

A tower in Lyon with a view over the city, but that's all. You can see the age of the hotel in the rooms with used carpets, humidity marks in the bathroom and a bit weak cleanliness (dust, and worn walls) Even the breakfast is better to have outside somewhere, it is too typical low-cost hotel breakfast, especially being in... The location of this hotel is graet , close to the train station Part Dieu and a star away from a shopping centre. The hotel is at the 32nd flor of a tall building and every room has a great view. It looks good from the outside and promising with the view but that's all. A very dated hoted that need to be redecorated and isolated. The room as old , the carpet are filthy, the bed has a V shape which doesn't allow a couple to sleep nicely. The tiny TV is not even a flat screen!!!! But the view... More
