We were in Lyon to visit family and decided to go to somewhere central. This hotel is certainly that. The rooms are clean, but our room 207 was clean, and had everything that you wanted, but, it’s rather on the small side. The breakfast is expensive for what it is and the ‘rules of engagement’ regarding the cooking of your... More

Halfway between the train station (we got train from airport to town) and the old town, the hotel is well placed for both onward travel and is a five minute walk from the River Rhone and the old town. Staff were friendly and spoke good English, very helpful throughout. Rooms were a bit on the small side, but were of... More

our stay in the Lyon was from 30th December till 3rd January, the hotel was quite nice and situated near the city center, we used to walk till the center, but in the surrounding area there was not a lot of bars or restaurant so every time we would go to the center. the breakfast is expensive. generally the hotel... I guess this hotel has seen better days. A bit worn out. The room and even the bathroom had some strange kind of carpet-like floor. Little to choose from at the breakfast "buffet". 10 minutes walk to the old city of Lyon. But the bed was comfortable and the room quiet. So the sleep was good

Overall this room was average. The furniture was a bit oldfashioned and worn out. My room was quite small with just enough space to walk around the bed. The stafety deposit box was broken and I only got 1 bottle of complementary water (no refill). In the room it was very warm, even when I turned of the heating so... More

The staff was pleasant and most helpful But the pictures on their website are for the suites (3 of them) not the other rooms. They are small. The WiFi is SO SLOW that I had to use the hotel clerk's computer to download material. And the public computer in the lobby has Word2003 (seriously). The price is okay; the hotel... More

Stayed at the hotel with my husband during a weekend in July 2014. We found the hotel perfect for us; price 84 € per night, garage parking for our car, clean room and the area in the city center around the hotel was nice and calm. Helpful staff. I don't drink coffee in the morning so I asked for a... More

Looking forward to relax between meetings I arrived in the 4 star hotel I've booked. Deception!!! This is may be a four star regarding the room prices but not regarding the comfort. In the bathroom which is compared to the room of a good size, there is nothing except a little soap and a body/hair-shampoo all in one. No body... More

The bathroom was actually larger than the sleeping room! There were no chairs or tables in the room so we had to eat our croissants on the bed. The bed was comfortable and the air-conditioning worked fine. The hotel's location is great for seeing the city and has many good restaurants and other services nearby.

I have just returned from a 4 night stay in the beautiful city of Lyon. We picked this hotel for a combination of location and price, but after reading the reviews on here I was not expecting too much. Whilst I agree the rooms aren’t large it had everything we required and was immaculately clean. The separate toilet and shower... More
