This was a good choice for a 1 night stay in Lyon. Very close to shops and restaurants near Place Bellacour. The hotel appears to be on a street which doesn't allow cars (at least to an American) but alas you can drive up and park outside the hotel to unload. Hotel La Residence was quite nice - a tiny bit worn compared to the sparkling new north american hotels I usually stay in, but actually quite charming. We liked the location of the hotel (easy to get to metro stations!), many restaurants/shopping nearby and loved our room (the small balcony was lovely).
