Yes, as someone said, the entrance is behind the hotel. Who cares? It's well lite and safe. There is no elevator and there is no help with luggage so be prepared. For this price and the location, I would not complain. I paid just a few more dollars for a Superior room which came with a view of the Theatre.... More

This hotel is great for a one night stay. The location is ideal to access the tourist sights of Old Lyon. We enjoyed our first trip to Lyon and were very satisfied with Hotel du Theatre. Our room was comfortable and reasonably roomy. It overlooked the square and was right opposite the theatre. The hotel is very central, close to the river and serves a good value breakfast. We hope to return next year. More
