Perfect location if you need a stop over before getting back on train as it is walking distance to the Part Dieu train station and half hour walk (for fast walkers) to the old town. For a decent value and clean room in a hotel chain as well as relative close distance to the train station, Ibis Lyon La Part Dieu Centre Halles is an ideal choice. The wardrobe could be bigger though.

This hotel is below the usual Ibis standard. It looks not very well maintained, breakfast was a disaster and can be considered as a waste of money. Try one of the alternative bakery's or cafe's just around the corner. Won't come back to this hotel, unless it's the last option.

Nice hotel, well located (near the Gare), a little difficult to find. The breakfast is great, the staff is really nice... The room is a little too warm (no A/C) and too dry; there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom in the first day, but is got better after.
