My wife and I stayed for two weeks while visiting Lyon. We relied upon the friendly courteous front desk staff to provide us with local information on nearby restaurants, the drug store and food markets. We prepared our own breakfast since the hotel, like others in Lyon, charged 10 Euros per person. The kitchenette was very well supplied. Our room... More

We booked the one night stay last minute as the other hotel messed up our reservation. I took the sofa bed room as it was the last one available and I recommend to you all not to do it. First of all we were two and got only one pillow. The staff was very thorough to tell me that they... More

This is a nice ( fairly modern) hotel / apartment, not far to the supermarket. This is in the Business district but only a 10 to 15 minute walk to the main tourist area. The staff were friendly and helpful and there is a very spacious common area where you can catch up with other travellers. It's good to have... More

If you are interested by Part dieu area then, the location is OK, just next to "les halles Paul Bocuse" but i am sure you can find better services, better room and better staff. We definitely not come back there as the value for money is quite poor

We only had one night stay here just to see Lyon for the first time. We arrived early afternoon and were disappointed in the surroundings. The area looked worse for wear, and nothing seemed to be open. It was a Saturday. We didn't find the staff altogether friendly or helpful. The room was most uncomfortable. We asked for twin beds... I had a great stay in citadines high Holborn in London so thinking they were a chain i.e. all the same I booked here. Wrong. the difference is vast . whereas London open an bright with all comforts the lyon version was the opposite. 5th floor corridor is dingy grey like a prison corridor with cells off. Breakfast room small... More

Stayed here with my Husband from Sunday to Wednesday. Clean and comfortable. I wouldn't book the small studio apartment again . I thought the sofa bed would be a double. it folded down to 2 singles. Bit disappointed. It was very hot but at least a fan was supplied. I had to wedge the balcony doors open for air in... More

The location of the hotel is first class. In among all the little cobbled streets and seconds from dozens of good bars and restaurants. Less than four minutes walk to cross either river, and to the main square and Tourist Office. On the downside, wifi broken for most of our stay, and no air-con. If you open the windows you... More

While on a business travel, I stayed at this appart'hotel for nearly 90 days. The room space was quite OK and clean. The bathroom/toilet area was good too. We stayed at the Citadines for 2 very uncomfortable nights. Our duplex apartment for 3 people not only had no air conditioning, but one small window for two floors and a velux that did not open. Two fans provided made no difference to the oppressive heat and stale air. We also had problems accessing the hotel on our second night... More
