Stayed for a week and enjoyed it overall. The hotel is not in the centre but is only 200 yards from a station on the excellent Metro system. The room was on the small side but not inconviently so. Given the 40 degree C temperatures outside, the efficient A/C was very much appreciated. There's a fridge, a safe, and neat,... More

Close to business district. Walking distance to restaurants and supermarkets. 30 mins away from airport. Friendly staff, clean, good spacious room. Overall good value for money. I did not try the food there so I can't give a review

The hotel is very conveniently located just a few blocks away from Metro station Sans Souci. I found the staffs to be friendly and attentive. Decent choices in the breakfast and I liked the view overlooking the streets of Lyon from the breakfast sitting.

I stayed 1 night at Mercure Lumière for business reason. Customer office was in the same building. Bedroom and service was perfect. Dinner and breakfast is ok. Area is calm, bars and restaurants not so far away. Frères Lumière Museum ( film movie inventors ) very close .

Not sure I'd describe as four star but a good quality hotel in a great location. Excellent transport links and only half hour walk into town if you are inclined. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Staff were very welcoming and helpful and rooms were clean and well stocked with free soft drinks and dressing gown. Would recommend for business or... More

We stayed here while my husband was on business. The hotel is very well located with a metro stop close by. It is possible to walk into the centre of Lyon if you enjoy a bit of exercise. This Mercure is a step above most. The room was really nicely decorated with new, deep carpeting and plenty of space to... More

While the hotel was not close to the Lyon attractions, the location was convenient to public transportation and felt very safe. The room was very warm, cozy and quiet. The staff was helpful. Breakfast was standard for Europe.

I had stayed here a few years ago and remembered it as a bit lacking in atmosphere. But I was pleasantly surprised. I had a horrendous journey and arrived after midnight. The desk clerk was very sympathetic and welcoming and gave me a privilege room which was spacious. I slept very well there indeed both nights. Breakfast is expensive but... More

Stunning building of Mercure Lyon Lumiere impressed me a lot in photographs and I decided to book this accommodation for my two days stay in the city. It proved to be a great decision. The moment I entered the building, I was left surprised. Not only the exterior, but interior of the building is also equally impressive. From reception to... More

Situated on a arterial route in Lyon, very near Sans Souci Metro Stop on Line B (blue) and easily accessed from the main station Gare Part-Dieu, also the main stop for trains to the airport. Thank you for sharing so many information on Lyon and our hotel. Th staff will be very happy that you found them nice and caring. As you know the city made some unexpected repair work in the avenue and that cut the hot water for the evening. congratulations for Chelsea European title last night.!
