After reading the nice reviews, I decided to book this hotel during a business trip in the region. My room (417) was stinky, I think of mold, noisy, with great views on thr Perrache train tracks. If you travel by train this Mercure is located right next to Perrache train station. However, it is still a 9-min train ride to and from Part Dieu but there are connections several times an hour. Our stay in the hotel was great. The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable with luxuries such as bathrobes or LCD TV. Very calm environment. Just a walk away from the town centre. Great food. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Possible safe car parking. Coach straight to the airport from the station just behind the hotel. more
