I stayed at this hotel for two nights as the temperature fell and the first snow of winter arrived. We were a party of five - two rooms were apparently so hot that their occupants boiled - the other three of us froze with not heating at all. We complained a but nothing happened apart from a thin extra blanket... More

My boyfriend found the hotel on another site and booked it. He believed it was closer to the Gare Part Dieu and it was called The Grand Hotel. No reference to Boscolo or B4, so we had a hard time locating it. No reference to the large scale construction going on. The water was indeed widely changing in temperature and... More

Hotel is in a good location but is undergoing external renovation. That was explained and due to lack of choice we accepted that. What was not clear was that the Boscolo website is not at all representative of the hotel. Inside it was dated and tired. The rooms were clean, and reasonable size but just very dated. Staff were friendly... More

I booked this hotel online for a business trip and it was called B4 Lyon. When I arrived, I was confused because the facade said Boscolo. The address was correct so I went into the hotel, they told me I was in the right place. The room key said Boscolo. The name caused much confusion during the week. I had... More

May 2013 the hotel is being renovated. No information is given at the time of booking. The renovation is much needed as the hotel is run down, with very little comfort. Beds are very hard and of poor quality, bath rooms aged. Hotel front desk is very friendly, but most of the other service is inflexible and the chef was... More

The hotel is decent and ok for the price we paid 100 Euro for a Saturday night. But the room felt outdated but clean. The blowdryer broke in our hands (one of these block on the wall with a tube). The door of the room was so hard to open that they gave us another room and even this one... More

The location, is just ideal to be near place bellecour, near the nightlife and between the old town and the Part Dieu station (about 7-9 euros with taxi in normal days). It is quiet and the first building to the river so the view is nice. The service was very good and helpfull at the reception, the room was clean... More
