We (two ladies) stayed here for three nights in mid May. We had rm 304, a small room with twin beds, a/c, tv, phone, closet, bathroom with large tub/shower (no curtain), hair dryer, shelves. There was an elevator but it was on the first floor (lobby was on ground floor). I had fallen and hurt my knee and was walking... More

This is a classic, older small European style hotel. The location is excellent, near Bellacour and metro stop. Tiniest elevator one could imagine--fits one person and a suitcase! Elevator ( lift) begins one floor up so this can be hard on anyone with a heavy suitcase! Room is small but adequate-- mostly one double bed and a shower. Fine for... More

It is located in the center, really close to restaurants, shops and atractions, evertything can be reached on foot. Also, close to the metro station Bellecour. The old part of the city is just 10min walk. Clean and quiet. Nice staff. There are some stairs for reaching the lift (in the first floor), but nothing that was a problem for... More

Lyon is a great walking town. The hotel was located within walking distance to everything. We parked our car in a garage that was several blocks away and didn't use it during our entire stay. The room was comfortable, but not fancy. There was a large cabinet to place all of our clothes. The air conditioning was a welcome addition... More

The hotel is extremely well located for experiencing Lyon - located in the Presqu'ile easy to walk to central Lyon, old Lyon and to the subway for other locations. The staff were very helpful and accommodating - nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean even if a little small, and Wifi worked well. In value for money... More

Hotel was extremely central for seeing all the sights of Lyon. We walked everywhere. Lots of good restaurants and shops close by and an easy stroll to the old Town. Rooms were in the small side but clean. Great WiFi. Owner was very sweet. Only negative was lack of onsite parking. The garages were expensive.

The location of this hotel was great, easy access to all the sights. The staff were very helpful but we did find it a little struggle to get our luggage up the stairs. The room was OK although the shower managed to irrigate the whole bathroom.

This is an old hotel owned by some really sweet people. The best part of the hotel was location! It was right in the center and very close to everything--food, shopping, sights! The hotel does have a distinct smell and is small. We were always out and about and we just stayed at the hotel to sleep and get ready... More

Great location in the heart of Lyon, between the Rhone and the Saone and a half block from Place des Jacobins. Easy, pleasant walk to vieux Lyons with its wonderful cafés (actually, I'm not sure there is a bad café in Lyon). Nice, clean basic room plus friendly and helpful staff. Good WiFi -- but no on-site parking. Excellent value.

Took a cab from the train station, Part Dieu. Stayed for here 3 nights at convenient Central City location, which we used as a base to walk Lyon. Hotel is walking distance to old city, river markets to buy crafts, fresh fruits and cheeses, museums, and restaurants. Room was on small side but clean. This is basic accommodations so don’t...
