This hotel is OK but not great. It is definitely an interesting building and fascinating walking about. However, as a hotel I found it lacking. The service was adequate but not at the standard of a Small Luxury Hotel. Staff were pleasant but seemed disinterested. The turn down service consisted of placing a breakfast menu on the pillow. My room... More

We are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay at Cour des Loges. We are really surprised you think the staff was disinterested. We usually have great reviews about our team who is available, professional and reactive. Regarding the food at the Cafe Epicerie, the menu and the receipes are overseen by our one star Michelin Chief and the customers really... More

Fantastic concierge. Lovely people. Room on split level was charming but once in the room it was quite awkward. Knocked TV over trying to get down to toilet and there was no sink downstairs by the loo. Charming place and lovely staff. A gem.

This hotel was the most beautiful and unique hotel I have ever stayed at. The entire building was like being back in time, making the entire experience magical. Our room was just beautiful, and every detail was thought of. The staff was very professional, and would come to our room in the early evening to bring fresh towels, make the... More

Really enjoyed our visit at this hotel. However the street was under construction so getting to it was a bit confusing and parking was a bit expensive at 35 euro per night. The road is narrow so there is strategy involved with parking, requiring assistance with valets and pre-planning. The room was quiet and comfortable with luxurious sheets and and... More

There are some things I don't get. Hard meringue. Fixodent (I've got my teeth). High quality vodkas, with orange juice. Things I don't get. And i'm also someone who struggles between the divide of "quaint antique" / "old crud". So try as I might, Cour des Loges makes no sense to me. It's an old building, sorry quaint I suppose,... More

Warning !!! Don't read my answer ! Even if you are thousands miles away from it, its smell could bother you. As I don't want to cause any disagreement, I would advise you to read the previous review called "A gem of a hotel in the heart of Lyon, France". This client's sense of humour is maybe less sharp than... More

Cour Des Loges is a remarkable hotel for anyone who would wish to stay in a delightful wonderland of elegance, resplendent with old world charm and unforgettable design. It is representative of the days when guests were treated with the utmost courtesy, graciousness and authentic care. The Head Concierge, Gerard Ravet is impeccable in his knowledge of the city of... The hotel had an old-world charm, which was perfect for its location in the middle of the old city. Our room felt very private and could be reached by winding staircase. Our room was very comfortbale. The breakfast was phenomenal - every option you can imagine and included in the room fee. I would recommend this hotel highly.

We stayed at Cour Des Loges for 3 nights. It's a large hotel but feels very quaint as it has several floors and different sections. We were told the building was built in 1350-1400, but it's upkeep has been maintained mostly. Only downside was that our room looked at another building very close to us and did not have a... More

Great stay. Wonderful petite dejourner. Excellent service. We tested the concierge by asking where to buy an Olympique Lyonnaise jersey. He quickly marked a city map with the downtown location of the team store. Very impressive! Warning: If you are arriving by car, call the hotel in order to lower the vehicle barriers that block the streets. Otherwise you will... More
