If you are looking for a hotel which used to be a historical building, right in the centre of the old district of Lyon, quiet and full of charm,it is THE place to be! The room we had was spacious with a huge bath and separate toilets, antiques and beautiful paintings

Situated in the Old Lyon it is perfect to explore the city on foot. Close to the cathedral, Basilica, Shopping streets and a multitude of restaurants. The welcome is fantastic and they certainly have some of the great concierges in the profession. Attentive service everywhere, sumptuous breakfast buffets which can feed you till dinner time. A Cafe restaurant(Cafe-Epicerie) in the... More

I stayed at this hotel last year in December for 2nights as I visited the star wars exhibition. This was a competition which I won through Sony and the hotel was paid for by Sony. Still as in every hotel they ask for your card for any other bar food etc. They for no reason held €850 on my account... More

It is scandalous to post such a review as we have not been informed of any problem, neither by a client nor by a bank. Your comment is like defamation. More

This hotel is a good mix of a historic location and a modern decor which has kept hold of its tradition. Its in the centre of the historic area of Lyon just south of the Rhone so there is plenty to see by foot. Nb - its in the pedestrian area so make sure you have directions (not straight-forward) for... More

It doesn't get much better than this. Here is a beautiful and unique hotel with spacious rooms and one of the best Concierge staffs in France. We had a very large suite with a stunning bonus -- walk-out windows to a fairly private outdoor garden. It because our favorite end of the day hangout place, with chairs and a table... More

My husband and I just got back for a 2 night stay in Lyon, we had read the tripadvisor reviews on this hotel and thought we were in for a real treat, appreciate that the hotel is in the Old Town so is a very old building, but to stay that it is dark inside is an understatement, as members... More

Thank you for your comments. We are sorry that you did not appreciate your room. It is too bad that you did not ask for help opening the window since there is a security latch that must be released in order for it to be opened. A special treatment of the pool area floor will be done in the next... More

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend in a standard room and we had a wonderful time. The building is very characterful and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Our room was not large but had a big bathroom and everything we needed. The spa and pool area was a lovely place to relax, as was the small... More

Thank you for your review. We are thrilled that the old town as well as the hotel's renaissance design pleased you so much. The next time you come to the hotel, please feel free to ask our concierge's recommendations for typical restaurants throughout the town. And we are glad that you enjoyed our top of the line SPA. We look... More

Cour des Loges is right in the center of the old Lyon, with the bustling (and at times touristy) cobblestone pedestrian streets all around. The hotel is in an old building which is quite atmospheric and charming but has its limitations when it comes to modern hotel amenities and accessibility. The bar, restaurant and breakfast are all quite good, although... More

Thank you for your review. Its obvious that our hotel caters more to an audience which prefers an old-fashioned and historic environment rather than a plain and more common hotel. We are glad that you enjoyed the other aspects of the hotel and we hope to see you soon. More

End of hallway on 2nd floor - like a giant dark cave - dangerous two steps next to the bed to use washing vanities, and no support to shower (most dangerous and difficult to operate) in the middle of a bathtub; a big window to a narrow courtyard was stuck could not open for some air as the air condition... Thank you for your review. We are apologetic that your room did not meet your expectations. It's a shame that we were unable to propose a room that would have better corresponded to you. During the nine day period in which Lyon was exposed to frightening hot temperatures, our air conditioners were unable to work properly, in spite of this,... More

My husband and I just returned from a food and wine adventure trip to France and spent a couple of blissful nights at this five-star hotel in Lyon. I had a Skype business meeting to chair, and so had written the hotel in advance to see if our room could be ready earlier than usual upon arrival. They assured me... More

Thank you for your very pleasant review. We were thrilled to read that our concierges were accommodating and that the restaurant was able to make your taste buds come alive. We are relieved that your second room enthused you. We look forward to your return to Lyon so that you will discover more of its facets and experience our brand... More
