It was presented as the best hotel in town, and I've got what they call 'one of the best rooms' in the hotel. The room was spectacular indeed. It had three levels: the 'leaving' space and toilet in the bottom floor, the bed on top floor and the bathroom and sink in between on the second floor. The floors were... More

Cour des lyon is a nice hotel. The staff are professional and the food at the hotel's 2 restaurants are excellent. The entry level rooms do not have showers, only baths. You need to upgrade to the next level to get a shower in the bathroom. The pool, soa and sauna is also nice and clean. My only concern about... More

The design of the building mixing ancient with modern, the galleried floors rising from the central dining area were wonderful. The bedroom was thoughtful with unusually imaginative decoration and was spacious. The staff could not have been more helpful. Safe parking right opposite the hotel was a plus. The situation in the Old Town of Lyon was ideal. The dinner... More

A visit to Lyon just wouldn't be the same without an overnight stay in the Cour des Loges in the historic heart of the city. Yes the rooms are a little musty and could use a refresh, "too much" space is dedicated to oversized bathtubs if one prefers showers, but the dedication to service and hospitality makes one want to... Lovely hotel in old town area of Lyon. Excellent service from all staff. Building beautiful and romantic setting. Bedroom mezzine is dated in decor and could be more clean, however bed very comfortable. More like 4star.

Good location, good, sized rooms, all very nice but a little tired as indicated by the stained sofa in our room, and one sofa covered entirely with a blanket (who knows what it was covering up). The staff are what save this hotel from being a disappointing three star experience. They are very courteous and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble... More

The city of Lyon grows on you & has lots of charm. The hotel is well situated in the old town. The street is populated with a choice of restaurants & small "arty" independent shops. The hotel is expensive but as with most things in life you get what you pay (breakfast 27 euros each)! We had a luxury room with... More

If location was all that mattered, staying at the Cour des Loges in Vieux Lyon would be a perfect experience ... a blend of the ancient building romanticism and current top-tier hotel service and amenities. Truly, there cannot be a better situated hotel for sightseeing in Lyon...it's entrance is on the Rue du Boeuf midpoint of the Vieux Lyon. Of... More

Thank you for your review. The whole team of Cour des Loges is glad you enjoyed your stay. It's too bad you didn't say anything to the manager on duty about the uncomfortable smell you could have in your room. Indeed, the proximity with la Saone can sometimes bring bad smells, however our head housekeeper knows how to solve this... More
