Nice hotel would be rated 2 star in the UK. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms more than adequate for an overnight stay. Breakfast served in the hotel was good with a fine choice. The adjoining restaurant was of a chain group (Buffalo I believe) Service was poor, one young girl was looking very blank at what most diners were... More

I have yet to figure out the French rating system for hotels, as this one has 3 stars but it is an older budget property in need of updates. Our room had a nice view of the snow capped mountains and was adequate for what we needed for a night, especially with free parking on the premises. There is a... More

We chose this hotel for the price and the location. The hotel is a basic hotel with fair sized rooms, internet (which worked well for us), and free secure parking. Stayed on the way to South of France from Bavaria. Quite difficult to find even with a satnav. Had no complaints. Cost was 64 euros for double room and included 2 breakfasts which were very good. We chose to eat out in the evening.

We chose the Balladins as it was close to the motorway but within Grenoble, but the Patrick looked much nicer when we walked past later that evening. The Balladins is a typical budget chain hotel, this was particularly poor as the bed was pretty uncomfortable, the room smaller than average and worst of all - no wi-fi despite this being... More

We stayed in this hotel on our way to Italy. We stayed with the same hotel chain in Calais so we didn't expect too much. Our room was on the third floor ( had elevator, so no problem), quite large room, big bathroom and nice view on the mountains. Friendly staff and a good restaurant in the building. We had... More
