After seeing all the previous good reviews of the hotel, I booked it on a very late deal travelling on the 30th March, but in the back of my mind was ‘waiting for the catch’, as nothing is ever that good. There simply wasn’t one. It was quite simply FAB. The hotel is in a great location, it is not... More

Stayed here for a late season ski holiday. Have been totally blown away by how good the staff are. Very welcoming, very well run and always helpful. Food has been great, location is very close to main lifts and centre of town. The rooms are nice. The staff even put on a special birthday party for our 5 year old... More

Travelled with Ski Total 16th March 2014 to Courchevel 1850. Expected an ordinary, run of the mill chalet hotel where the food would be adequate but nothing special. How lucky were we ? Fabulous quiet room at the back of the hotel (No 56) with lots of space and a nice view up the mountain, and always kept spotlessly clean.... More

Just home from a week here and can totally recommend it. The building offers facilities like most chalet style accommodation: smallish but adequate rooms with decent en suite and abundant hot water, decent lounge, bar and restaurant area. The ski-store / boot room has the advantage of boot-warmers / driers, the benefits of which for some outweighed the resultant pungent... More

Affordable accommodation with high class service in a high class resort. Couldn't fault the staff - they made every effort to make sure we were well looked after; they were friendly, accommodating, cheerful and went above and beyond the call of duty to look after us. They genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay. The food was great from a... More

Yet another successful visit to the Coq with ski total. Staff brilliant as usual. Location can't be bettered. 200 yards from bubble station. 500 yards from the pubs. Rooms clean and excellent although need a bit of tlc. Unless you want to pay stupid money this place should cater for every level of skier. I'm told the tea and cakes... More

The location of this hotel is brilliant but what truly made it a wonderful holiday by every member of the team excellently led by the hotel manager Carl. There was nothing that was too much trouble for the team including slight moves to our room layouts (and as we were a large group) that was no mean feat. The team... More

Having just spent a most enjoyable week at the Chalet Coq de Bruyere in Courchevel 1850, l have nothing but praise for the very hard working, and always friendly staff. ln responce to the critic who was upset that the very entertaining, funny and always smiling barman Sean, did not bother to learn his name, and political views, do you... first the good bits. great location-intersport ski hire shop next door. cross over the road for the easy blue run that takes you to the plantrey chair lift. or 3 minute walk to the main centre and all the lifts. Dear Docjimbo, We are sorry that you felt that a few elements of your stay adversely affected your holiday, which meant that you were not as pleased as other guests appear to have been this season. The team in the hotel have been receiving plenty of complimentary feedback this season, though I understand that we did experience some staffing issues... More
