We stayed at Le Portetta only for 4 days but enjoyed every moment in there. The reception staff were extremely friendly and professional from the very first minute and even offered us upgraded room as the hotel was not full at the time. Room was really nice and cosy, not too big but we had no issues with its size.... More

We have just spent a week's skiing holiday at this fantastic hotel. It is so beautiful and all the staff are the nicest, friendliest folks we have ever come across. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone. The ski technicians are also just great, with hot boots to put on in the morning and the guys even put on and... More

This hotel is just amazing. We arrived and were given a very personal welcome. The room was much bigger than we were expecting. Be sure to rent your ski's and boots at the hotel shop- they were well priced and gave excellent service each day. The food, lounge area and all staff are just second to non. The hotel has recently... Just returned from a week at Le Portetta. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary so wanted something nice. We were certainly not disappointed. I will start by being ultra critical. Our bathroom could have been bigger although it had a very nice full size bath and a lovely internal window through to the bedroom which even had it's own... More

The hotel has a three star rating, but this must be down to the fact that the rooms are not enormous and that they don't have a pool and trouser presses/kettles in your room. As I had not trousers that needed pressing, the reality is that there is nothing about the Portetta that I would change. The hotel was extensively... More

Great hotel in excellent location. Lovely lounge area, nice restaurant, very comfortable boot room, and some of the best personal service we have had anywhere in Europe. High points were the ease of getting boots and skis hired in the hotel itself, and then having it all laid out in the building for you; the spa, where my wife and... More

Outstanding hotel, staff and attention to detail. The service in the ski room and the maitre'd in the restaurant outclass any other ski venue we have tried. The staff could not be more helpful. Taxi transfers to Geneva airport were arranged for us and although expensive it meant that the holiday was stress-free from start to finish. Ski New Generation... More

We stayed here while skiing for a week in March. The rooms are small but very nicely done. In particular, the bath and shower are excellent. The food is great (although the restaurant is quite smart and all I had were jeans and trainers....). Free wifi in all the rooms too. Brilliant location - literally at the bottom of the... More

We returned for I think the ninth year. The service is fabulous and really friendly and helpful. The location is superb, as the village of 1650 is in my opinion is the best in the Courchevel area, as you defintley get the quietest ski-ing on the slopes in peak season. The hotel offers wonderful food, and if you really don't... More

As other posts have mentioned the hotel has just been refurbished. The hotel looks great (fairly traditional with a contemporary touches) and is in a good location just by the piste in 1650, one minute walk to the lifts and you can ski in/out. We had a valley room without a balcony on the second floor, it was fairly small... More
