Our family (myself, wife and 16 month old) came to Le Portetta for a weeks ski vacation. Overall my opinion of the hotel was great. Easily gave it a 5/5 rating. Staff were so friendly, english was no problem, and the location and room were amazing. We stayed in loft 1, and I've attached some photos. Really beautiful, with a... More

What a disappointment. We were a party of 15 adults and young adults and several of us are keen supporters of the Lime Wood brand. We ate outside on the terrace and there was no management evident. There were lots of little initial niggles - no wine glasses with the wine and no gas in the outside heaters, the barman... More

We lunched here twice during our Christmas break skiing. Excellent food and very efficient and friendly staff. The Fire and Ice bar is a greta location for apre ski . If you want to dine on the terrrace lunchtime, it is advisable to book - you won't be disappointed.

Great hotel in 1650 with everything that you could want from a boutique on the slopes. Great boot-room and ski shop in-house; a reliably good restaurant if you don't fancy eating out; a good gym, sauna and gym (no pool, although with the sauna etc I didn't miss it). The hotel feels intimate enough to go back to year on... More

This is a long overdue recommendation. We have made this hotel our destination for the annual ski vacation. 3 times thus far, 4th booked. We stay in the lofts which are perfect. Fire place. Lots of room. The hotel is very pleasant, on the slopes, perfect service. Courchevel is an excellent resort and part of the world famous 3 vallees.... More

Situated on he quieter and less expensive side of Corrchevel (1650) this is an excellent hotel in a great location with ski in / out & a fantastic ski room with ski hire sales & all the assistance you will need on hand. Rooms are on the small side but this is par for the course in French Ski Resorts... More

I stayed with husband and my 2 sons for during the first week of the Dec 2013 ski season. All staff from arrival to departure were friendly and accommodating. The family suite we stayed in was very comfortable and clean. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day. The family room with an extra bunk bed room and bathroom for the... More

The hotel location was excellent right at the bottom of the slopes in 1650, and only a 2 minute walk to the centre of the village and the shops and restaurants. The hotel was clean and very well decorated, and the staff were friendly (with both English and French staff). The facilities include outside terrace bar, spa, restaurant, free wifi,... More

Returned to Le Portetta for our 4th year running, this time with grown up children and their partners. The change of food in the dining room and bringing it in line with the terrrace lunchtime menu proved a hit with all. Its now more gastropub than french traditional, possibly a reflection of the hotels UK owners. More english staff in... More

I visited with my two daughters and my mum, who's in her eighties. All four of us had a lovely time at Le Portetta. I'd agree with the tone of most of the recent reviews, but I'd like to stress how comfortable and homely the staff make you feel. The facilities are all lovely, the convenience is unparalleled, the ski... More
