Location Just a short drive above Courchevel 1850, also accessible by a ski cabin lift from the lower main town. Quiet street, very near Cabin lift station. Hotel Initial impression was positive with a helpful reception and help with bags from hotel staff. The Hotel itself is a little dated, with narrow stucco corridor leading off the main reception area... More

The hotel is in Courchevel 1850 it is considered the best place in Courchevel. Spectacular scenery, ski in ski out. classic hotel, a bit outdated, but compared to hotels in Courchevel gives good value for money. Good breakfast, but dinner needs improvement. The hotel manager gives pleasant feel and very warm and caring. Ski shop attached to the hotel with... More

Good location. Clean rooms - 5th level is the best. Food is ok. Definitely avoid renting your ski at the Skiset New Solarium shop downstair. The service there is terrible. Few of the concerning issues we experienced: beginners ending up with professional skis, people renting same skis are charged different amounts, people renting for days are charged 4 + 1... More

My husband and I stayed 15 March - 22nd March 2014. Like others we were dreading the hotel because of poor reviews but it turned out to be a great little hotel. Lovely staff - polite and helpful. The food was excellent most nights and good on others. The location of the hotel was superb. The room was good -... More

A very good stay with Family in March 2014. A good location to the slopes and 1850 itself, courteous staff and excellent food - clearly a lot of effort goes into the food - the handmade desserts in particular were excellent. The rooms and bar area were lovely and warm throughout the week too - ideal after skiing all day... More

Contrary to other reviews we found the hotel buffet situation to not be an issue. If any item had run out it was quickly replenished. The position of the Hotel could not be better as you are next to run which will take you to the main area where the lifts etc. are located. There is also a Gondola opposite... More

Prior to our holiday we were more than a little concerned about where we were actually going, having read the previous reviews on Tripadvisor. We stayed from 1st till 8th March 2014 and were in the excellently appointed room 406 Having now visited, I think the fact that Crystal sell this as a Crystal finest hotel with a 4 star... More

We stayed at the hotel 1st - 8th March 2014. The hotel is right next to the jardin alpin lift and you can ski in and out with ease. Our rooms were 202 and 203 and we had a lovely view into the village and across the mountains. The beds were big and soft and comfy, The food was excellent... More

I have read some of the reviews about this hotel and I think that some of the criticism is really not justified. Firstly, This is Courcheval 1850. Probably the most expensive ski resort in Europe. Even the restaurant, Le Tremplin, has caviar Pizza at 280 euros a go! So if want an inexpensive holiday then do not come to 1850.... More

I've never recorded any feedback on trip advisor but following our return to the UK i feel compelled to offer my honest review. I've been to Courchevel 1850 several times so all the previous comments about prices are irrelevant i.e if you desire a cheap place to ski - do not go to Courchevel 1850 with the Abramoviches or Leonardo...
