We stayed the last week in March and although the weather was warm the snow conditions on the piste were still good. I cannot fault this hotel at all. Yes the rooms need some modernisation but that really didn't matter. The location was excellent. The staff brilliant. They couldn't do enough for us (especially my 5 year old son and... More

We stayed over half term and had a fantastic holiday. The hotel would benefit from a bit of an update but you can not beat its location or the best hotel staff you could ever hope to meet. The rooms were comfortable and warm with plenty of hot water. Lovely food which would cost you an arm and a leg... More

Like others giving too much good vibes probably makes places harder to secure next year! However its 3 star is'h accommodation so don't expect too much on the decor and some people found lack of windows in bar/restaurant a little claustrophobic. The rooms have loads of storage space and really comfortable beds. Always hot water for bath/shower and for three... More

I also feel reluctant to share this with you. Great staff, food fab, 4 course meals, wine drinkable, soup and cake when you get off the slopes, lovely atmosphere. Rooms a bit tired but that doesnt matter. Skiing to your front door in such a great place makes up for it all.

We stayed here as part of an Inghams Ski holiday and must admit that the hotel has seen better days. The rooms are large enough (for a ski hotel) but they really are getting a bit tired. Having said that, the staff were amazing and did everything possible to make our stay a success. The food was excellent and the... More

I am torn from giving a tue and therefore great review as I want this hotel to be my secret and not encourage more people to use it!! We were here the last week of february. The hotel is slightly tired but very clean with the best staff you could wish for. Rooms spicy, with fridge, lots of storage, Just... More

Stayed here the first week of February and had a brilliant time. There were 45 in our group this year and many of us felt it was the best place we had stayed so far. The staff and reps couldn't do enough for us and were pleasant and friendly at all times. The food was lovely with a variety of... More

Stayed here in the first week of February. This is quite large accommodation for the chalet experience but it worked really well. Excellent location, seconds from the piste and lifts. The food was excellent and plentiful, as was the wine with dinner. All the staff were so friendly and very hard working. Whilst we agree with other reviews that the... More

I stayed at this hotel in Jan 2014 for skiing with Inghams. We chose it from reviews on tripadvisor and can't fault it. It has the best position in the resort of 1850 without having 5 stars. It's about 30 meters from the bottom of the pistes and lifts (3 bubble lifts) and a short ski down to a chair... More

Well a bit of a mixed bag really. Great things: access to the slopes, perfect location just a few metres from the ski lifts, luge run. Not so great things: small tired rooms which were incredibly hot, brusque hire shop staff, expensive, occasionally stressy hotel staff, slopes heaving at this time of year. We much preferred a catered chalet to... More
