Have just come back from ½ term holiday with my son. We regularly come to the Courcheneige and again it really does what it says on the tin! The food is always excellent, service excellent and the value excellent and the location excellent but above all it’s such a friendly place and smiling guests and smiling staff. They simple run... We love this hotel and have been back seven or eight times. We were not disappointed this year as we were on the special deal with free lift pass and equipment. In a room with a lovely south facing view of Saulire , the cost was 2550 Euros for the two of us for half board. There has been talk... More

We have stayed at the Courcheneige a couple of times over the years and it was good to be back for 5 nights over new year. The best thing about this place is the position for skiing...right on one of the main pistes back into the main lift area at 1850 and you can ski 100 yards to the Pralong... More

This was our first time skiing and we stayed here with friends who had been before. The location for skiers is absolutely fantastic and the amenities are great. Equipment hire and ski passes are done on the premises and you then just ski off onto a gentle green run that takes you straight down to the main cable cars and... More

This is a first rate, reasonably priced piste-side hotel at altitude (luckily for us at Christmas 2014 -accessing good ski-runs when other resorts were still closed). However, I would particularly stress the general helpfulness of all the hotel's staff - and the efficiency of the management when we were blocked in the hotel by heavy snowfall and unable to leave... Just finished a week's stay in this wonderful property and had the best skiing holiday ever! I highly recommend this hotel as it is one of the best! The excellent service and the great facilities (ski shop with the latest gear and ski pass is also available in the shop). I was surprised by the prices as normally I feel... More

We last stayed here 9 years ago, before the current management, and it was OK. Now it's great due to the food and staff improvements. The position is perfect right on the piste. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable but not special. It had a lovely south facing view. The young staff here are very pleasant and can't do... More

Came for a long weekend after a friend talked me into a second ski holiday without the kids. The hotel is very friendly and the location is perfect I mean perfect ski in and ski out. Ski shop has first class gear and well organised and also sells ski pass. The prices are very good I would say best value... More

This hotel is in an amazing location and the view from my room was to die for, over-looking the free drag lift (see photo), but it was incredibly basic for the money and the food very bland. I enjoyed the breakfasts but dinners were very disappointing. There was a choice of menu and 4 courses, so more than enough food,... More

We've been staying at the Courcheneige for somewhere in the region of 20-years, We haven't been every year, but this year it was probably our fifteenth visit. When several years ago, the Heulley family sold the hotel to the new owners we had reservations for the future. But new the owners bought new ideas and we consider that the hotel... More
