We enjoyed a lovely self-catered ski week with kids in Les Montagnettes/Chalets de la Mouria in Courchevel 1650 in February 2014. The complex comprises a number of apartments on a quiet road below the main part of Courchevel 1650. We booked a four bedroom room apartment to sleep 8/10 (apt 16), which comprised one double bedroom and three twin rooms... More

Apartment great, location great, staff great. - Beds VERY hard and probably the worst thing about the residence. A simple mattress topper would do the job. Given that most chalets / hotels are now doing this, I think the Montagnettes team are behind. - Poor Wifi. Very slow and only allows 6 connections. In a chalet that can sleep 12... More

We have been returning to Les Chalets de la Mouria for 4 years. We definitely recommend it particularly since this year they have updated some aspects. They have moved away from the Chinz look and improved the style with white linen and towels and some updated fixtures and fittings. The first year we booked with Erna Low but ever since... More

dont go to the chalet Ariondaz which appears to be in this complex ! on our intro meeting we were told 1 towel per person and it will not be laundered all week( good for the enviroment you know!) No room keys and no safe to put your valuables/money in whilst out skiing for the day. Shared front door keys,... More

We had 15 people in two 8 person/4-bedroom chalets (numbers 3 and 13). We found the chalets to be well appointed in terms of equipment in the kitchen (dishwashers/crockery/etc) and had no trouble catering for 15 people in one of the two chalets each night. In terms of location you should have no concerns. The chalets are a short (50m)... More

Shared a 4 bedroom chalet (No10) with friends and family, 9 in total, over the Feb half term hols. For Courchevel, this was very spacious, especially the lounge/dining area area. Would echo the comments of the previous reviewer. Our kitchen was adequately equipped apart from small coffee cups. Benefits - relatively inexpensive for level and space in accomodation, proximity to... More

We went to Montagnettes in Courchevel 1650 as a group of 3 families and stayed in a 4 bedroom chalet. This was arranged via ski collection, I believe part of Peak Retreats whom we have skied via on many an occassion. We had the maximum amount of people allowed, 8 people in 4 bedrooms and two boys in the sitting... More

I'll start off by saying that Courcheval 1650 is a fab resort and the ski-ing is amazing. Best we've ever had. We booked our holiday with Inghams with "luxury" 4* accomodation and paid a price commensurate with this. Our experience did not live up to this booking. I'm happy to pay a premium for a top ski-resort, but Inghams is... More

We stayed at the Chalet de la Mouria - Les Montagnettes over Christmas 2011. Negatives: 1) Advertised as coming with WiFi. It didn't work properly if at all. When we asked reception for help they couldn't or wouldn't help and said that he didn't want to give us another code as it "cost him money" - not really the attitude... More

Stayed here for a week of skiing in March '09 with 5 friends. Location within Courchevel 1650 is very central, Funky Monkey pub and a decent sized Supermarché are within 3-4 minutes walking distance. Ski rental facilities and all other amenities are also very nearby. There is a short chair lift (3 Vallee) near the chalet however the main lift... More
