This hotel does not disappoint . It is a little bit more expensive but it is worth it for the personal service given. The room are fantastic and ours had a large balcony with views of Mont Blanc and the Aguilles Rouge. It is very central for the town and Montenvers and the Midi cable car

We have just spend 4 days at this lovely hotel. Perfectly located, just outside the busy centre, quite so can sleep with windows open. A stunning breakfast and extremely friendly hosts and staff. The hotel has all the cosines you would expect from a mountain hotel and all the necessary luxuries to make your stay very pleasant with stunning views... More

We stayed at the Hermitage for two nights in August 2014. We had a family room which consisted of one double bed and a (double) sofa bed. The room was large with two bedrooms divided by a sliding door, a good size bathroom with a great shower, a separate toilet and a walk in cupboard for our luggage. The staff... More

Our fourth (or maybe fifth) stay at this fantastic family run hotel in Chamonix. It is far enough out if Chamonix to enjoy the peace this area of the suburb has to offer, but close enough for the centre to be a near 5 minute walk. We were offered one of the suites in the Challet on arrival given we'd... More

We were only able to stay one night here on our way back to Italy...but wow, what a great place. We stayed in the three bedroom cottage and were very comfortable. The location is only a few minute walk to the center of this beautiful town surrounded by the French Alps. The staff was very courteous and helpful especially with... More

Checked into this hotel in Chamonix at the last minute and got a room for two at £50 each or thereby. Very friendly, welcoming hotel with helpful staff who speak English and take care of their guests. You can get breakfast for 15e extra - we never had it but the dining room is very nice indeed. The hotel is... More

Ahhh what a place really. U feel like u r part of the mountain especially during winter while it's snowing and u have a room with a balcony view. I will definatly return. So peaceful. Like u are living at home is how the staff treat u. The hotel lobby/living area by the fireplace is mesmerising. U can stay up... More

I stayed with my husband for 8 nights between late february and early march. The location is very good, the breakfast is yummy (the bread is a must) despite expensive (like every other places I had breakfast in Chamonix), the bedroom is spacious, clean and provides a beautiful view, the staff is nice, the owners are lovely, the common areas... There is a lot that is nice about this hotel. It's location is fairly good, five minutes walk from the nearest ski bus stop and ten minutes from the main stop in town, there's a great micro brasserie that brews it's own beer that is a two minute walk away as well. The reception and bar look great, and service... More

We stayed in the Maisonnee. We were 4 adults and 4 children (even though it only really sleeps 7) and we fitted in OK. The Hotel and the associated chalets are very cute (if not a little kitsch). All the staff are dressed in what appeared to be a local heritage costume. Odd, but cute. Very easy 200m walk to... More
