Our flight into Geneva was late which was going to put us at the hotel after 9:00 PM - which typically means you're going to have trouble getting into your room. We called ahead informing of the issue and were provided information to conveniently get us into our room that night. The room was beautiful - the view amazing. The... More

The staff were lovely and the food was fantastic a cooked breakfast if... More

I only stayed for one night so not much to report. It was actually quite good. I say that with some surprise as most hotels in the alps at a sensible budget seem to be promise big and fail to deliver. Things that were good: 1.Reception were really friendly. They carried on replying in French to my terrible basic French... More

A very nice hotel with friendly staff. After 4 days walking in the Alps we enoyed the room and the balcony. The hotel is situated close to the main street, and has a calm garden to relax in, or you can take a swim in the pool. We will be back!

With cozy decor, mountain views, super comfortable beds, a prime Chamonix location, and a heated pool for warmer days, could you want anything more? OK maybe yes...a ground floor tea house that serves coffee, tea, or even a glass of wine. The staff was friendly, organized, and helpful. We stayed here at the start and end of the Tour du... More

This hotel deserves a very rare five stars from me. Upon arrival you are greeted by the warm and friendly staff. The outside of the hotel is charming but be prepared for functional and charming in the room. We are travelling as a family so we booked a suite. The suite had two bedrooms with doors, a hallway with a... More

5 years ago, I stepped off the train after a wet and cold day of skiing in the back country of Switzerland, and was told that Chamonix was fully booked. Dragging my skis down the hill I spotted this hotel. I desperately needed a place that to warm my bones and heart, and it was PERFECT. The owner was so... More

Lovely guest house with immaculate rooms. Very comfy and nice people. I think it's been refurbished recently as the decor and furniture are all like brand new. Good view of Mont Blanc from room The breakfast is a little expensive but you can eat outside at many places for much less. We went para gliding and what a great experience... More

We stayed in L'Oustalet for 4 night on a skiing trip. The hotel is a nice cosy wooden hotel, with a small functional Spa (hot tub + Dry/Wet steam room). staff is very pleasant an helpful and the rooms are quite comfortable and roomy (although nothing luxurious, obviously). I would recommend visiting the hotel, if you don't mind the following:... More
