My girlfriend and I stayed for four nights last weekend and into this week. The hotel employees were all very friendly, the room was a great reminder that we were staying in the Alps, with its wood and warmth literally and rhetorically. Finally the location was terrific. Certainly recommended and we're planning next year's trip to stay there again.

We stayed at the Hotel L'Oustalet with our nephew and niece at this comfortable and charming small hotel in Chamonix. Everyone on the staff was exceedingly friendly, helpful and all spoke excellent English. The rooms were clean, comfortable with plenty of storage space. If you're a skier, it's a 1 minute walk to the Aiguille du Midi lift and you'll... More

Had a great 2 night stay at the hotel last week. Everyone was really friendly, the spa area downstairs was great, the location was perfect, breakfast was good, and nice rooms with good views. 5 stars all around.

We stayed over a weekend and we have been impressed by how good is the hotel!! The rooms are spacious, characteristic from the mountain but very efficient, with a beautiful view on the Mont Blanc. Beds are extremely comfortable and the bathroom was new, clean and very big with shower and separate bathtub. Breakfast, optional, is good and fresh. The... More

Our flight into Geneva was late which was going to put us at the hotel after 9:00 PM - which typically means you're going to have trouble getting into your room. We called ahead informing of the issue and were provided information to conveniently get us into our room that night. The room was beautiful - the view amazing. The... More

I only stayed for one night so not much to report. It was actually quite good. I say that with some surprise as most hotels in the alps at a sensible budget seem to be promise big and fail to deliver. Things that were good: 1.Reception were really friendly. They carried on replying in French to my terrible basic French... More

A very nice hotel with friendly staff. After 4 days walking in the Alps we enoyed the room and the balcony. The hotel is situated close to the main street, and has a calm garden to relax in, or you can take a swim in the pool. We will be back!

With cozy decor, mountain views, super comfortable beds, a prime Chamonix location, and a heated pool for warmer days, could you want anything more? OK maybe yes...a ground floor tea house that serves coffee, tea, or even a glass of wine. The staff was friendly, organized, and helpful. We stayed here at the start and end of the Tour du... More

This hotel deserves a very rare five stars from me. Upon arrival you are greeted by the warm and friendly staff. The outside of the hotel is charming but be prepared for functional and charming in the room. We are travelling as a family so we booked a suite. The suite had two bedrooms with doors, a hallway with a... More
