We truly enjoyed staying at this chalet. Very quiet at night and James & Antonia were wonderful and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfasts we had and they are so friendly. A little walk to the center of town but not bad. The room we had was big and had everything we needed for a nice stay. Wonderful view of the... More

We stayed here about a year ago and really enjoyed it. It is set up that the guest rooms are on the bottom floor and then the common areas (kitchen/balcony/eating space) is upstairs. It is located just out side of the town, having a car was nice, but if you like to walk (a lot) you might be ok with... More

For anyone searching for the special get-a-way away from the usual impersonal hotel scene, this is THE place to go! My husband and I stayed there for an extended weekend and we were not disappointed. The rooms are in excellent conditions with ensuite, great french windows to enjoy the beautiful view! The hosts, James and Antonia, gave us a warm... More

We had stayed in Chalet la Seche a few years ago (2004) and returned for a short week this summer with our dog (Aslan) for a weeks break. James and Antonia are excellent hosts, helpful and informative on anything you could want to know about the area. Providing useful tips on walks, what to do, when, weather & restaurants. The... More

Stayed here for a week and had a great time. Antonia and James were great hosts. Couldn't have been more helpful. James sent us off on a walk every day complete with an excellent picnic lunch, directions and a map. Chamonix and the surrounding area is a great summer destination if you like walking etc. Having someone to help you... More

We spent new year at Chalet La Sache with our two young daughters and enjoyed every minute of our stay. James and Antonia who own the Chalet are the perfect hosts. They couldn't do enough for us and we quickly made friends with the other guests in the chalet. The food is excellent and the rooms are very comfortable. After... More

Chalet La Sache was a great find for me in the winter of 2004. James & Antonia were such great hosts that my stay over ran until the snow started to melt in the spring. My number of return visits has almost required buying a season pass! You will find the Chalet less than an hour from Geneva which makes... More

Chalet la Sache is truely 1 of those places you dream about arriving at after an easyJet flight from the UK. The transfer up from Geneva is under an hour and your arrival is greeted by Vivi, James & Antonia's Bernese Mountain Dog. She'll be your friend for life! I've had several amazing holidays, with great home cooked food, fantastic... More

We stayed at the Chalet la Sache in Chamonix for a week in April this year (2006). We had a fantastic time and were very well looked after by the Chalet owners, James & Antonia and their lovely mountain dog Vivi. The chalet is located just out of Chamonix town (about 15 mins walk) in a quiet area, away from... More
