It may be hard to believe as the hotel is located right at the town centre. I have a room facing the river. Having slept in dorms in mountain huts in previous nights this is a real treat. I negotiated a discounted price of 60 euro/single without breakfast early in the season (early July).

The hotel itself was nice and the person on the reception was very welcoming. A great location and lovely little outdoor area. We had originally booked a room with a balcony however got put in a room without one. When we asked to be moved this was no problem however we were put in a room with a massive infestation... More

The hotel room was spacious and clean. The balcony of the room provided a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and the valley. Breakfast was OK although you might want to go eat pretty early as scrambled eggs and bacon were clearly cooked only once per morning. The location was central with a variety of very good restaurants within walking... More

Just finished a 3-night stay at this hotel, and it was a perfect choice for me! Location is really close to Chamonix centre with easy walk to train station and various cable cars. Room was good size for a single - clean (old hotels would do better to have tile floors than old carpet, though), quiet (yet liked the sound... More

I arranged my father's holiday in this hotel in August 2010. My father had a single room with a balcon and he enjoied very much the Mont Blanc view, the river, and the swimming pool outside. The hotel is nicely furnished and well located in the centre of Chamonix.

This hotel is in the center of Chamonix - you can walk to great bars and restaurants at the end of your day on the slopes easily, and the bus that takes you to the slopes in the morning is just 5 mins walk away. We decided to go for the premium room based on the typical small size of... More

We stayed five nights in this hotel. The only real problems we faced were the small size of our room (perhaps compensated by the big balcony with a view to l'Aiguille du Midi and a reasonably sized bathroom) and the fact that the skiroom was way too small and the light switched off after 90 seconds. The staff was very... More

We have paid £250 for one night in a very small room. I can not imagine staying there for a long skiing holiday, as there is no space in the room for anything. The hotel was very pretty and the room too, with an easy access to town. It was very cold there - we have mentioned it in the... More

We had a problem with Air France not delivering our ski equipment and the staff, especially Marie at the front desk went way out of their way to help us get our baggage and rescue our vacation. The location is great right on the river and the rooms were small but very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very... More

pros : excellent central location next to the river, smiling staff, soundproof from inside and from outside, nice bathroom, balcony cons: old decoration , too many pieces of furniture that reduces the size of the rooms, small bedrooms, average breakfast, poor and not free internet except for 1 hour, overpriced, charged at 60% at the booking whereas it was supposed...
