Its what we were looking for. The main reason for writing is to warn other readers of the terrible experience at La Flambée restauarant. Rude staff, cold over-priced food - AVOID at all costs - we should have known better than to visit a clear tourist trap. We found lots of other options like Pizza Stone, Rusticana and others. more
We stayed at the Cristal in Feb and loved every minute. We had a lovely apt which even had its own Sauna in the room. One tip. It is about a five minute walk to the Grand Montets cable car. If you hire your skis with Skiset (no longer at the aptts but now located next to cable car) you... more

We have just come back from a week at these apartments and enjoyed them very much. The apartments themselves are relatively plain but very cosy and comfortable - and the heating works very well!! They are centrally located, being close to what I suppose would be the High Street, with shops and restaurants and bars. The bus stops right outside... more
Great place, great location so close to Grand Montets cable car, short walk even with all your gear on. Staff were a little snooty at times however not a great enough deterrent to keep me from going back there. Excellent mountain views from a large number of rooms so the chances are good. Have just returned from a week at the Cristal d'Argentiere. The residence was perfect for us. Good location, nice rooms, good facilities and pleasant staff. Snow in Argentiere was not great but much better than in all the other resorts in the area.
