Were booked here for the start of the TMB by our tour organizer and we booked two nights at the end. We were given lovely rooms both times with incredible views if Mt.Blanc. The owner was very charming and helpful and gave us lots of good information. She seemed to really like us and did not charge us for the... More

Me and my climbingpartner were in Chamonix for mountaineering and needed a cheap but clean place to stay after our climb. We run into the Richmond and we were offered to stay in the “alpinist rooms”. We were offered a double room for 1/2 of the price we were originally offered. Only drawback was shared bathroom and showers (spread over... More

Hotel Richemond is right in the middle of Chamonix. It has a boutique old world charm that is individual and unrepeatable. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and chatty. The buffet breakfasts were very well done. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel in the middle of Chamonix. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the local transport and tourist attractions. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard and the buffet breakfast superb. I would definitely use this hotel again.

Family owned hotel that makes you feel like at home, so welcoming. It is ideally located in the heart of the town, and on one side you have a great view on the Mont Blanc. The rooms are rather large and very comfortable, they are not modern but have the charm of the old times, and I find them great.... More

Once a grand old lady this hotel has a funky charm all of its own. Located smack in the middle of Chamonix it is great value. Eccentric owners make this a special stay for anybody. The south side rooms that have view to Aiguille du Midi are the ones to go for.

It's not the most modern hotel in town but you can't beat the location and room prices. The breakfast is excellent. The staff very friendly and helpful. One reviewer noted the hotel was noisy. Chamonix has much night life and without AC you will want the window open during the warmer months. This is true of most hotels in Chamonix.... More

In our previous visits we had been looking at this beautiful building along the main pedestrian street of Chamonix and always had wanted to stay but somehow had been "diverted" to different places. this time, by mere chance, we got a room there for a skiing weekend in March. it was a wonderful experience. the location is fantastic, right on... This hotel is quirky and full of history. What a refreshing change to stay in a hotel that has plenty of character. The rooms are very comfortable with excellent views and breakfast is plentiful. The location is spot on for the ski bus, restaurants and shops but what makes this hotel special is the family and staff that own and... More

I stayed here with my son as part of a skiing holiday package so the hotel was chosen for us - and a great choice it was! The key attractions are the large bedrooms and the excellent location in the middle of town so all the restaurants are very close, as is the bus stop for skiing. An unexpected attraction... More
