Myself and 7 friends stayed at the Gustavia Hotel for 3 nights from Jan 14th to Jan 17th on our annual pilgrimage to the Alps. The hotel itself ticked all boxes as far as I'm concerned. The rooms were warm and comfortable, the staff were friendly, there was adequate ski storage and the hotel has the added bonus of having... More

This is a Swedish-owned hotel with 3/4 swedes and 1/4 brits. We stayed over new year with half-board for a skiing holiday. The place has character and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are smallish but adequate with comfortable beds. The wifi is free but access is good only downstairs or in lower rooms and impossible in higher... More

My husband & I drove to Italy to spend Christmas & stayed in Chamonix on the way back home for one night so that we could visit the Ice Cave at the Glacier. The hotel was in an excellent location both for the tram up to the Ice Cave (just across the road & over a bridge) & for the... More

The hotel looks great from outside and the staff at the reception was nice. It's a bit old inside but gives it charm. The room was nice at first glance. We had a triple room with a balcony. View was on the main street. There is a bar in the same building, so it's nice to go out there at... More

The hotel is situated in the perfect spot in town and houses one of chamonix most famous après spots, Chambre Neuf. Unfortunately this is where the positives end. The hotels parking is so small it's impossible to acquire a spot, the bar is incredibly noisy every day from 3pm onwards making sleep also impossible. The rooms are very small and... More

First of all, if you count on free AND available parking-forget about it. They have space for a bout 10 cars only, and Gustavia guests are not the only ones that can park there. Chambre neuf, a very noisy bar's patrons are also parking there. Every night when we get back to the hotel from skiing we had to struggle... More

Lovely hotel, pretty entrance and rooms. I stayed here for one night and I just arrived from a long journey as I had been to Amsterdam the day before. Looking forward to an early sleep after a nice meal, I came into the loudest partying noises. The Chambre Nerf underneath the hotel and part of the hotel as I have... More

We recently stayed here for a few nights and have to say the food in the restaurant- Chambre Neuf- is a real highlight. We tried the mussels and red Thai curry- both were well made and tasty. The rooms in the hotel need an update and it did get quite noisy as previous reviews have alluded to due to busy... More
