This hotel was chosen by UK adventure tour operator for the start and finish of our trekking trip. Location is excellent to access everything from station, the telecabin to go up to see mountains, shops to numerous restaurants. I was impressed how friendly all the staff members were. They came outside to show me which mountain is what, gave me... More

Nice enough hotel across the road from the train station and just around the corner from the town centre. Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms comfortable - there is a lift. Although we didn't eat there the food looked good and reasonably priced. There is a BBQ when the weather is good. Breakfast was fine and more than... More

I give this establishment only one star due to the following: 1) the second most noisy nightclub in town (Chambre Neuf) is on the ground floor. The most noisy is across the street. 2) 8:30 am we was waken from sleep by the staff, who told us that check out was 9 am!! 3) staff lazy and indifferent. At least... More

Just got back . most of the people there are nice but one male staff member was rude . and started throwing water on customers that did not agree with him and he tried to bar them . Tall young guy with blond hair with it tied up at the back . rude to me and other people but for... More

Not for families with young children Great for young adults enjoying the party scene Our teenagers had a spacious triple room right above the bar. Although too young to enjoy the fun in the bar below they didn't seem to be bothered by the thumping beats into the early hours. We had a smaller attic room which although much quieter... More

We use swisspass to charmonix and the hotel is closed to the railway station. We walked afew minutes to the arguil du midi station very easy. The hotel is a little bit old and there is a small elevator but that is enough. Rooms are resonable clean.breakfast is good(full breakfast). Friendly staff.,Highly recommend for everybody who use swisspass to come... More

Myself and 7 friends stayed at the Gustavia Hotel for 3 nights from Jan 14th to Jan 17th on our annual pilgrimage to the Alps. The hotel itself ticked all boxes as far as I'm concerned. The rooms were warm and comfortable, the staff were friendly, there was adequate ski storage and the hotel has the added bonus of having... More

This is a Swedish-owned hotel with 3/4 swedes and 1/4 brits. We stayed over new year with half-board for a skiing holiday. The place has character and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are smallish but adequate with comfortable beds. The wifi is free but access is good only downstairs or in lower rooms and impossible in higher... More

My husband & I drove to Italy to spend Christmas & stayed in Chamonix on the way back home for one night so that we could visit the Ice Cave at the Glacier. The hotel was in an excellent location both for the tram up to the Ice Cave (just across the road & over a bridge) & for the... More
