Having just returned from Chamonix, I wish I had better things to say about this hotel. Unfortunately, it was just a really bad value for money. We paid 400 euros a night for a 2 bedroom suite and stayed 3 nights. For this we got the following: - no clean up service, clean everything yourself before you go including take... More

Stayed here Jan 2014. Great apartment with view of my.Blanco on 5th floor excellent ski in-out options which would suit even the complete beginner. Spa, pool etc an added bonus, well equipped kitchen, linen, towels etc all good standard. Bus stop for both piste and general travel right outside. Not really any bar atmosphere though, just a pretty lounge and... More

Where to start... You arrive to find everything costs extra, change of towels €16 euros, sauna €10, drier €5. Sheets weren't changed and bloody. Breakfast poor and you had to request that they open the breakfast room. Good location a plus but the only silver lining.

First, the positives. Les Balcons has an unbeatable position, with great views and a short traverse to a beginners’ Poma which will take you up from where you can ski down close to the base of the Brévent gondola. Returning to the hotel from the gondola is even easier because after walking across the road and putting your skis back... More

I stayed here with my family in a 1 bedroom apartment and my extended family also had the studio and 2 bedroom units. The hotel is in a great location for ski in/ski out type trip. You just cross the grassy (or snowy) area behind the hotel to hit the bunny slopes and gondola to the upper part of the... More

I was staying during my 3 days working in Chamonix. It was not a peak season, so the hotel was almost complete empty. It's a cabin style kind of hotel, it offers wooden look like rooms. Perfect for the skiers. It hast also indoors swimming pool but unfortunately was not open during my stay. The hotel also have wifi connection... More

Perfect location, great staff & service, very nice flat with superb view (A/410). Very good and friendly massage (Karine). Nice pool and game room for kids. Bus to Grand Montet very close, Brevent cable car can be raeched on skis. Cross country ski is 10' away. Second time there and we will be back in 2 months. Best flats in... More

We were 3 women travelling to Chamonix. We reached the hotel via Chamexpress car.The car dropped up in front of the hotel. This hotel is near about 15 minutes walk from the train station. The train station also is the place from where all the buses to different points of interest leave. There are some very good budget restaurants and cake/bread shops... More

Strongly recommend. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and well equipped. The views.... you don't need the TV because the view of the mountains and of the quiet but busy Chamonix is stunning. Just got hometown the UK, most of this morning was spent on the huge balcony looking at the view, which had turned white overnight... More
