We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at hotel Aiguille du Midi. It is a nice hotel, lovely decorated. Its location is perfect. Not in busy Chamonix, but close by, and close to all kinds of interesting attractions. Excellent food, especially the breakfast buffet. But most important of all: extreme friendly staff. We will definitely stay there again!

Stayed at the hotel for a family wedding - three nights. The hotel and grounds are in a beautiful setting and well worth a visit. We had a standard room which had a spectacular view from the window and it was stunning to wake up to each morning. The room was quite small however and in the traditional style but... More

This is an extremely friendly family-run hotel where a large mixed-age group of us stayed last weekend for a wedding. The hotel also hosted the wedding reception itself (drinks & canapes, followed by dinner & dancing) as well as drinks & buffet the evening before and brunch the day after. Everything was done brilliantly, with the apparently tireless staff constantly... More

This hotel is AMAZING. The staff worked tirelessly to ensure my nieces wedding was a major success. The food and drink served at the three events during the wedding over three days was magnificent in terms of quality; quantity and presentation. The grounds are beautiful. The view over the glacier is outstanding. Lovely little balconies. Rooms not massive but very... More

We recently attended a wedding at the Hotel l'Aiguille du Midi in Chamonix, spending 2 nights in the hotel, which successfully blends traditional with modern and is very family friendly. The room was charming, spotless and very well appointed with splendid views over Mont Blanc and the Glacier des Bossons. There is a swimming pool, tennis court, gym and spa... More

Be sure to get the dinner/breakfast package. Everything was outstanding, the staff was wonderful, the bar cozy, and the dining room with all of its beautiful silver was a true dining experience right down to the cheese cart and the Grand Marnier crepe flambe for dessert. Love the juice maker at breakfast. A tremendous value!

I decided to go here for a relaxing breakfast before catching my transfer home. Upon arriving, I was met with very welcoming staff who prepared a lovely breakfast. The hotel itself is well decorated and has a lot of character, making you feel instantly at home.

Good hotel, great restaurant. Stayed nine days. Hotel is family run, excellent service, friendly and helpful staff. Room was immaculately clean. Room price was reasonable for height of ski season. Food a bit pricey, but worth it - not really much more than restaurants in Chamonix proper, and the food here is better. Food is fantastic. Lots of families with... More
