I brought my husband to Chamonix for his 50th birthday. He wanted to snowboard in the Alps. Chamonix was the perfect location and the Mercure Hotel was a great choice. We drove to Chamonix from Geneva and had no problem finding the hotel. The staff was warm and welcoming and helped us work with the airline when our luggage was... More

Stayed two nights here in February. Getting there: It's very easy to get to from Geneva by car or train. The train station is right next door, but there is literally no noise from it at all. If you drive, there is an underground lot owned by the hotel for 30 Euro/nt. It was full during my stay, so we... More

It is like living in a dreamland where prince narnia & edward cullen movie set is made there. everywhere is so romantic during snowdays. Mercure is an additional plus point since it is close to the city and there is overlooking the mountains great view

Arrived late Thursday night by transfer bus from Geneva without trouble, quick & easy check-in although no help with Luggage, left with a late checkout at 14;00 on Monday. Good location very close to centre of town and railway station. Friday morning hired ski's and boots from basement in-house set up and eventually sorted out lift passes from one of... More

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Good restaurant too. Clean and well equipped rooms. Walking distance to the train station and city centre. Nice view from the room. Negative point is that there is no mini bar in the rooms.

My wife and I (and Bro-in-law and his wife) flew in from New York for the weekend and stayed at this hotel with Half Board. We arrived on Friday and stayed 3 nights (departed early Monday morning) and we are in our mid 30's. The purpose of our trip was to go skiing and we did! The hotel location is... More

Although the location of the hotel is great, the hotel itself doesn't deserve its four stars. There is no one to help you with your luggage upon arrival, the lamp in our room was broken and did not work properly and the glass door in the bathroom was broken as well. There is no mini bar in the rooms so... More

We had reserved 3 superior rooms and pay at least 45 days in advance. The room was the worse one i stayed in my life. The part of the hotel we stayed needs renovation. The staff was very good. The breakfast buffet was perfect.
