We had booked a junior suite but on arrival we were able to choose a double room on a higher floor with spectacular views of Chamonix and Mont Blanc. The approach up to the Auberge is by a steep hill which I walked just once but chose to drive for the rest of the time .The setting was beautiful especially... More

We stayed in a junior suite in early September of 2013. The view of the alps from our front patio was breathtaking. The room itself was spacious and lovely. I can't say enough good things about this B&B- it was quaint and luxurious. If we return to Chamonix, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. The small sauna/hot tub area... More

Nice, cosy hotel. Would be a nice romantic spot for couples. The breakfast was not included in the room and very expensive so we skipped it and there was no kettle in the room for coffee/tea. The hotel is located on top of a long, steep hill and walking to and from town (especially with ski gear) was very difficult... More

This is an excellent place to stay in Chamonix, and we had a great time. Starting with the positives: the view is incredible. The hotel is a little out of town, so it is quiet and peaceful, set in gardens filled with summer flowers. Breakfast was excellent, served on the terrace with stunning views (the staff even brought over a... More

We chose this hotel because it is a little removed from the center of Chamonix with beautiful grounds and views. We were not disappointed. The flower and vegetable gardens are lovely as is the setting overlooking the Aiguille du Midi and the Mont Blanc massif. We had a new room in the adjacent "chalet." The room was wonderful! Very modern... More

We visited Bois Prin as a recommendation for dinner and chose the chef's menu complete with his choice of wine. Lovely setting, good welcome and good food but the service was not good. At 105 euros per head it was an expensive meal, but we expected the best. The service was bad, we had to ask for our first tasting... More

We have had no heat for 3 days, and now just before christmas eve no hot water. Not a place to stay on family vacation. very hard to communicate if you do not speak french. Breakfast is mediocre and takes forever to get served. Not enough staff. Maintenance is one person. We are never coming back here.

Didn't even have tripadvisor at the time...if you can imagine it! Just picked it out from the Internet selection. My sweetheart and I had magical moments at Du Bois Prin. Wonderful food, a whirlpool to our own with an asounding picture-window view of Mont Blanc. It was truly one of those magical moments in life. I guess my only gripe... More

We celebrated our 5th Anniversary here and couldn't have asked for more. Great room with views of Mont Blanc and a lovely little garden. The best meal I've ever had, great service and if you are going to Chamonix and have something to celebrate, look no further. My only regret is only staying for one night. We will return and... We stayed on a last minute booking for 2 nights. The reception was always extra nice and agreable. We loved the crisp new room they created in the detached modern chalet. If you are after Mr Z type experience this is perfect. The situation make it far enough from the city Center to enjoy a stroll through the village back... More
