This hotel is nicely located. It is 1/2 block off main pedestrian streets, Joseph Vallot / Dr Piccard. The stairs are somewhat narrow but navigable. The room are large, nicely furnished and sleeping was good. The bathroom was good size with shelf space and towel racks. The staff was friendly and helpful except for printing boarding passes, no printer in... More

In Chamonix, one of the things you want is a good location, this hotel is great, very central but not in a noisy location. The staff were lovely, always helpful. Breakfast choice was good and free afternoon tea/coffee with biscuits is a nice touch too. Our room was good size, bed comfy. The hotel has 6 pedal cycles, you can... More

We stayed two nights with while traveling with our adult daughter. We had room 14 which had a queen bed and a daybed. It also had two doors that lead out to a large balcony with a wonderful view of the mountains that we enjoyed very much. The bathroom was divided into two rooms. One had the toilet only and... More

Booked on line last minute and was so pleased we picked this hotel. Easy to find and very affordable. They so very kindly gave us an upgrade and we had a terrific room with a sensational view. The bedroom extremely comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and not expensive. Secure on site parking which is a bonus for us. Right... More

We stayed here one night en route to Italy. The hotel is very tyrolean, with lots of wood. The staff were very welcoming. The rooms are a little noisy - you can hear through the walls. However the views are STUNNING!! Mont Blanco is right there in front of you!

We loved this cozy little hotel on the banks of the Arve River. We were lucky enough to be given a room facing the mountains and with a balcony overlooking the river. The sounds of the water were so peaceful and the views of Mont Blanc outstanding. If we ever return to Chamonix, we would definitely try to stay here... More

Enjoyed our stay here at Hotel de l'Arve. The hotel has a heavy ski lodge theme throughout (think knotty pine trim... everywhere!), so if you're looking for upscale, you'll probably be disappointed. However, the rooms were very clean and comfortable and the location is excellent (short walk to town centre, 15 min walk to Aiguille du Midi lift). The staff... More

A lovely hotel in the heart of Chamonix, walking distance to the Brevent-Flegere lift. We had a standard double room, with a balcony overlooking the river and out to the mountains. The bed was comfortable, the room cosy, clean and well-appointed. The shower over the bath was fantastic! Breakfast was buffet style but delicious and well presented, with lots of... More

Very good location with walking distance to lifts (Brevent) and town center as well as ski buses just around the corner. Clean and comfortable rooms and facilities. Very friendly and service minded staff. The standard room came with a spacious wardrobe, but unfortunately lacked a fridge/mini bar.

Had a good stay at l'Arve. Room was rather small; good size bathroom. A lot of choice for breakfast. Ladies working at breakfast room are doing their job very fast but forget to look around if guests need anything.
