We booked the hotel via email correspondence and it was stated clearly that I asked for 2 ensuite rooms with Mont Blanc view and I got reconfirmation (via email) before I arrive. However, when I arrive, I was told they only reserved one room for me and that there is only ONE Mont Blanc Suite. After much deliberation, my parents... More

I have stayed here twice, once with friends and once with colleagues. The La Bagna is quite basic with some rooms having bunk beds or showers down the hall yet it is cosy, offers a good breakfast and has amenities like free WiFi, TV Lounge with DVDs and Sauna. Apparently the current management are leaving later this year and the... More

Stayed here for a few nights in early January for downhill skiing. Positives: Within 5 min walking distance to the gondola at Les Praz, so it was a breeze getting to the ski hill. Also a 5 min walk to the bus so access to the other ski areas (like Argentiere) was also easy. They have a ski/boot room in... More

I stayed in Auberge La Bagna for a few nights while skiing in Chamonix. Hotel: Run by a young couple - Blanche cooks yummy international and regional food if you choose to half board option and even takes special requests! There is a sauna and outdoor hot tub, which are great after skiing, as well as a separate ski hut... More

I arrived at Les Praz by train, and walked to La Bagna which took me about 3 minutes, but I was already in love with this charming village and the astonishing mountains when I started making my way from the train station. I am so glad that I stayed in Les Praz because the quiet charming village is so in... More

The service was good. The room was comfortable and quiet. Through the window of my room the impressive silhouette of the Dru is contemplated. It's posible that La Bagna can be better, but for my it's good

We stayed at Auberge La Bagna for five nights, to enjoy the Nordic skiing and the mountains. We found them through the Chamonix website, and we wanted a bed & breakfast rather than a hotel. We could not have been more pleased (see photos of exterior). Stefan and Blanche, a young couple who run the place, were extremely friendly, welcoming... More
