Very easy to reach (simply walk down s-t-r-a-i-g-h-t) from the main train station. Located at a key location next to an old church (which, unfortunately we could not find time to visit) overlooking the Tourist Centre, the Aiguille-du-Midi, Mont Blanc. Rooms are with wooden finish with renovated bathrooms. All in all, a decent acommodation, but after reading other reviews in... More

Don't let the outside of this building put you off. We stayed 2 nights on the 3rd floor in a clean spacious room overlooking the mountains and glacier. Our room had comfortable lounge chairs as well as a table and chairs, outside balcony and comfy bed. But the view was to die for, the mountains & glacier at night from... More

Very smooth check in process - the receptionist was very friendly and helpful with the neighbourhood information (ie buses, grocery stores, etc) room was clean, great water pressure. Unfortunately the wifi didn't work during my stay but the tourist information (with free wifi) is just across the street.

We had a room on the top floor (4th). There stairs were a nuisance, but once in our room, it was a bit cramped but very enjoyable. The decor was winter cabin-y with exposed wood. The view was wonderful. The location, right on a plaza, across from the tourist office, next to the church with a great cafe downstairs and... More

Myself and the man in my life, Dominic, returned recently from spending four nights in this lovely hotel. They say that situation is everything and this hotel definitely could not be more perfectly situated. Eventhough it is only a 2 star establishment, it has everything that one could want for a holiday stay. All the girls on reception could not... More

Stayed here with friends while skiing on the April bank holiday weekend. Occupies a good location in central Chamonix, very close to all the amenities, virtually next door to ski hire and a boulangerie, and it's a short clump (albeit uphill) to the Brevents ski lift. Staff are friendly, and did everything they could to assist us. They are a... More

Friendly staff that speak good English! Great location in the centre of town with easy to access the lifts. Make no mistake - this is a basic no frills hotel and that's exactly what we expected. Lovely direct views of Mont Blanc. Recommended. I love Chamonix. Proper working village - good in the summer too.

Comfortable and old-style rooms with nice mountain views, although the hotel is hard to get to (no parking) and next to a loud square. New bathroom, but smelled of sewer. Staff is very kind and speaks good English.

Amazing staff, perfect location, very reasonably priced. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, no frills place to stay look no further. Very clean, very comfortable, and staff that go out of their way to share their extensive knowledge of the region with you. I can't wait to come back. Thanks Sandy!

After leaving the Tourist Information centre we immediately saw a cute little hotel opposite. Amy was on the reception desk and gave us a friendly welcome. We booked in for two nights in a family room with direct views of Mont Blanc and a little balcony. The room was clean and quiet with a renovated bathroom (also with amazing views).... More
