A bit shabby, but excellent value for the area and not far from the action in the centre of town. Struggled to find this on the usual internet searches, and was directed by the tourist office. Clean, accommodating service and a certain old school French charm that is often missing in Chamonix. For short stays, solo travel, tight budgets and... More

Out of the seven B&B and hotel reviews that I am doing for my recent stay in four European countries, Hotel L’aiguille Verte is-thankfully-the only negative one I have to offer. It is also the only time that I cried on my trip, which I’m sure will seem comical at some point in the future…but not yet. I’ll begin with... More

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights on a recent ski trip to Chamonix in March 2015. It was small & cosy and has simple furnishings. It was excellent value E35 per night and had all I need. I stayed in the most basic room but there are other that are more luxurious. Breakfast in the mornings was great... More

This hotel is a rather old one, but it is very nice in being that affordable in such a highly touristic area. The scenery from the windows is fantastic especially that Mont Blanc appears majestically with other mountains and can be seen from the room. The sunset on those mountains was quiet a view. The staff is helpful and cordial.... More

I have been staying at this hotel for many years for long ski weekends with friends and have always found it comfortable, warm and friendly, if obviously not more than a few stars ratings wise. The fittings and furniture are of variable quality but pretty much always sufficient (the single rooms with separate bathrooms are probably the furthest from ideal)... More

My girlfriend and I found this gem while walking around Chamonix, looking for a place. We instantly fell in love when we met the staff and saw the room. We have fantastic memories in Chamonix and will definitely stay here when we return. The from entry until we left, this place felt warm and cozy. The staff was extremely hospitable... More

Perfect for an overnight stay or a bit longer. Cosy, clean and warm. Great beds. The dining room and breakfast is old style, very simple but just right. The Father and Daughter management team are polite and helpful. Don't let the looks put you off. This is a very good little hotel. The morning views are simply breathtaking. I'd recommend... More
