I 've booked by phone and already the hostess was quite disagreeable. But when I met the owner, he has been very incorrect and almost vulgar. I formally advice anyone against this place.

We stayed one night in this charming old stone hotel. The owner is third generation and is very friendly and helpful. Great location just up from the old town and below the Chateau. Also an nice terrace for take away and wine while watching the sun set over the village. Rooms are small by most standard, but very comfortable and...

I paid Euro 50 and for that amount you'd be a fool to expect too much. But it was fine; clean and reasonably comfortable. On the outside it looks good and the location is a bonus, near the gorgeous old town. The breakfast was a 'help yourself' arrangement; simple and quick. The room I was in could definitely have benefited...

The Hotel du Chateau takes a bit of finding, but once you wind your way up the hill past the castle, it's well worth it.
The hotel itself is middle of the road ... but in a good way. For what you pay, it's warm, clean and very French. It's a world away from a hotel chain, which is exactly...

Almost forgot to review this!! Basically this hotel was simple but comfortable and represented good value for money. For us the location was perfect. Literally a few minutes walk down the hill right into the restaurants area of the old town. Couldn't be better, and with car parking as well (very tight!). Recommended and we would use it again.
We took a weekend trip to Annecy and wanted a family hotel with charm and good location to the old town and the castle. This fit the bill! It is perfectly located right next to the castle (we could see it from our room). In fact, you have special parking through the castle parking-lot gate (which is good for traveling...

As part of our trip to Geneva, we decided to take a detour and ended up in Annecy. Being a weekend and without reservation, we were lucky to secure a 2-night stay at Hotel Du Chateau, albeit we had to change rooms.
I have to say that our room #14, on the 2nd floor facing the castle, was bland. With...

Perfect location near the castle 20 metres from the city centre. Nice and big bedrooms Very clean Friendly owners
Nice hotel located on the highest hill in Annecy, next to the Chateau with great views. The room was small but very comfortable.
At the bottom of the hill is the main town center with great shops, bars and restaurants.
Driving-follow directions to the Chateau, drive past front entrance and bear right to hotel, limited free parking.
A large Merc...

This was an excellent place for us in the old section of the truly gorgeous Annecy. The hotelnis up a hill, so if you have trouble with knees it could be difficult. But we liked it a lot. There's the option to take your breakfast on an outdoor terrace looking out on the city. The room was good - roomy...
