1. The location was good, just a block from the station. The town is small, so it was only a 10-minute walk to the center of the old town. 2. The price was reasonable. 3. The hotel was in a typical, older building, with some character. The small front desk was on the second floor, and there was no elevator.... more

2 star Hotel located 2 mins walk from the coach/ rail station and 5 minutes from the old town. No frills like a lift or a/c, but terrific value for a clean, nicely-presented and well-run Hotel. We just spent three nights at Hotel des Alpes during the middle of a hot summer. We were in room 325 on the "corner" of the building so we had three windows overlooking rue de Poste and the train station. The rooms are nice (this was our second stay here this year) but a bit small (normal for French hotels).... more

This hotel is about 100m from the train station which was great for us because we arrived around midnight. The hotel is up a small steep flight of steps so we struggled with our luggage. The staff spoke minimal english but we managed with our minimal french english mix. There were two places open to get any food or drinks... more

A lovely little hotel in Annecy with very kind staff -- they even helped me bring my luggage up the somewhat lengthy staircase. The stairs were probably the only drawback at this otherwise nice, cozy place. Hotel offers free parking from 6pm - 9 am in a structure a few blocks away. more

My Wife & I stayed in this hotel for two nights in June. First impressions - Centrally located, easy walking to touist areas, no hotel car park - although street side parking for loading and unloading luggage.
