As soon as we got into the room, we had to air it out. It smelled of smoke and incense - much like a turkish monastery. We were given a full balcony room with a spectacular view of the lake and the gardens. That's the tragedy. It's so beautiful on the outside. But don't believe the website, believe the photos... more
This hotel is absolutely amazing!! The scenery is magnificent and the service is excellent. If you have a chance to stay in this hotel, lake view room is a MUST! I highly recommend this hotel for at least, a once in a lifetime experience. more
This hotel has a very nice setting but is extremely overpriced. The staff is not helpful especially the coincerage who could barely be bothered to answer your questions. The restaurant is extremely expensive and the staff here too will let you rot at your table. After we placed our order, it took forever just to get a glass of wine!... more
My 2nd stay at the Imperial this year and I must have been staying at a different place compared to the other reviews. This place is a major rip off. This is supposed to be a 4-5 star hotel.
