The hotel makes regular offers, go and check on their website. Thanks to this we could book a room for 3 nights for only €450, including the breakfast and a teatime on the terrace. We stayed at the hotel arriving on Friday and leaving Monday morning, the location took my breath away when we arrived at the hotel, well worth paying the extra 20 Euros for a lake view. First the good things: Annecy (and its lake) is a wonderful location for a quick stay or a relay while travelling through France. The old city centre is at a 15 minutes walk from the hotel, and you can easily spend an afternoon and/or evening while strolling through its medieval streets, crossing canals as in a miniature version of Venice.... more

Annecy lake - Not just place for Tour de France 2009 but also nice little town near lake. We stay at Hotel Imperial - top location, nice building but servise inside hotel is not at 4 star level. Old part of the city, specialy at night ,is very nice. Small restaurants, nice and worm local people. more

Very poor housekeeping. No porters to help with luggage. Dinner service incredibly poor; food avaerage. Breakfast service good (better staff), food average. Apart from its location and the town of Annecy itself, a very poor experience. Next time one of the hotels in the old town! more

This hotel is beautifully located on the lake.... operates a casino whioch means that a good quarter of the rooms are over a very noisy area...two good restaurants rooms are clean and average quality decorated a la art deco, sort of, but the hotel is very overpriced...and beware if you have a train to catch it takes 20 minutes for... more

We loved this hotel. Our "regular" room was rather spacious and had a great view over the lake, the setting is beautiful, the staff is helpful and the restaurant is very good. The waiters in the restaurant are somewhat "distinguished" but very friendly. There is no hotel swimming facility as - we were told - the founder of the hotel... more

What a beautiful location right on the lake in one of Europe's prettiest towns.This hotel caters mainly for conferences and business and this perhaps explains why there are no facilities for guests to lounge outside and enjoy the fantastic views.Similarly there is no pool although you will be offered towels if you wish to swim in the lake.
