This review is for the Mercure CENTRE. The hotel has been totally refurbished and modernised. Clean modern rooms with flat-screen tv, and 'wet-room' shower. Staff helpful, breakfast extra (plenty available in local cafes). In busy pedestrianised street, but not particularly noisy. Parking in local underground carpark - discount ticket from hotel, but check on complicated rules! 1 very small and... more

We chose the Mercure after reading the other reviews on this website. After arriving there, we thought we must have the wrong hotel. But after double checking, there is only one Mercure in central Annecy. The room was terrible! A standard, clean, business-type hotel. We stayed in Annecy for a long weekend of trekking/eating, and got what we came for! Stunning scenary around lake Annecy and excellent local food! Highly recommended for eating/outdoor enthusiasts. more
