We chose the Novotel due to location and having an attached (underground) car park. Like anywhere in Annecy to the uninitiated locating a hotel by car can be tricky. I liked the hotel. I couldn't really fault it. The rooms were clean and the breakfast good. Good location to walk into town too. The baths a bit high for my liking and the shower head didn't point in my direction so I had to hold it. Apart from that, it was a nice pleasant hotel to stay in.
