This small B&B in Annecy is down a quiet street and only about 20 mins walk to the head of the lake. The lady on reception was pleasant and check in was efficient. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable with the added bonus of tea and coffee making facilitles. There is a lovley seating area outside on the... More

Brilliant place to stay - we couldn't believe the quality of our experience for a 3 star hotel. The atmosphere was relaxing, the staff charming but non-intrusive. The breakfast was excellent with a vast choice and we particularly enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the calm and quiet of the garden. The rooms were clean and although we were on the... More

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Les Terrasses. The staff were helpful and the garden is lovely to relax in. It's a short walk to the Old Town and Lake and we appreciated the (free) secure car parking. The only hitch for us was that the wifi didn't work in our room - but it was fine in Reception. Breakfast... More

We stayed at Les Terrasses for a week. It is located about 10 minutes from the station and 20 minutes from the lake, in a quiet part of the town. We had a room to the side and it was quiet. Our room was a family room as it also had a bunk-bed. Breakfasts were great and for majority of... More

A very good clean room at at a reasonable price. Comfortable bed and a great flow of hot water for the shower. Was able to leave my luggage there while being a tourist! Reception were helpful with wifi instructions and how to get in after hours. Not too far to walk to attractions.

We stayed in the hotel for one night during our way back from holidays in the south of France. We appreciated a good location in a quiet residential area, close to the railway station and within a walking distance from the magnificent lake and city centre. The hotel offers free wi-fi and a free parking on site. there was a... More

This hotel was just great as a base for our week in Annecy and the area around the lake. Well located, a short walk to restaurants, shops, the old town and the lake pier, it is a very comfortable hotel with a nice garden and on-site parking. The owners and staff are very pleasant and helpful, and the breakfasts were... More

We spent five nights in this hotel early September 2014. We found the hotel extremely homely, unlike many of the large chain hotels. The staff were brilliant and the hotel was ideally located for easy access to the old town, new town and the station. The car park which is free and accessed at the rear of the hotel is... More

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights to visit Lake Annecy and Chamonix. The hotel is well-located, close to the railway and access roads but not noisy. It was an easy 5-10 minute walk to restaurants, shops and the lake and a little further to the historic town. We also ate at a nice Portuguese restaurant less than... More

I was only here one night with a friend, but it was perfect for a night out in town. Walking distance to the old town and train station, free car parking, and staff were very flexible and helpful, particularly when we asked for somewhere to leave our bikes in safety after the Etape.
