This wonderful family owned property was a perfect setting for a recent trip to St. Remy and surroundings. Located just a short walk from the town's center, the experience was truly special. The hotel is filled with character and has a unique charm. Yes, it is old, but its bones are solid and stand the test of time. If you... More

On the South side of the city and about a five minute walk to the old town, this is a very pleasant establishment. Staff very friendly and the 'sitootery' is very satisfactory. the room i was allocated overlooked the pool and did everything i needed. the shower was good and i enjoyed the balcony in the early morning watching the... Get close to Vincent (van Gogh, that is) in Saint-Remy at this family run house/hotel. Charming town with a spoke system of roads from its center. This hotel is on the spoke road to La Baux, an ancient Roman fortress town within an easy drive, however it is a difficult climb to the ruins. But offers great picture opportunities from... More

Our room was spacious, decorated in the Provençal style and the bed was comfortable. There was a small balcony overlooking the garden, where we enjoyed a late afternoon drink. Breakfast was simple traditional French style and included home made jams and fresh fruit salad. Service was pleasant and helpful throughout our stay, helping us carry our heavy luggage to our... We really liked this hotel - it was so typically French ! We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a weeks WALKINN Provence walking tour ( highly recommended) .This company seems to go to a great deal of care to present a very authentic local accommodation experience . Location was very close to town in a big old... More

We just stayed one night but the staff is very nice and the hotel is clean and there is a lovely terrace and a quick walk to town. There is a parking lot which is secure and there is a code. Up the street is the ruins and Van Gough's hospital. Very nice stay

We stayed here one night in Sept 2014; 94 euros w/o breakfast, but free parking. There is no a/c, no elevator, nothing I could tell that would rate this place a 3 star hotel. The breakfast was 10 Euros additional; we passed and walked to get fresh bread in town. The location is good, as it was a 4 minute... More

Just what we needed, good value with parking, we missed breakfast because of early flight, nice people, although only a little old and no pool. Recommended based on value for money and location, and didn't overcharge for baby cot. Lovely town of St Remy well worth the visit for a wander and food.

The best part of the hotel was the service. Isabelle from the front desk was amazing, very few people go out of their way the way Isabelle did for us. Upon arrival we found out that there is no elevator in the hotel and we had a lot of luggage. She helped with the bags, accommodated us to move to... More

Le Castelet des Alpilles is a wonderful property located just outside of busy Saint Remy de Provence. It is an easy walk to town and an even shorter walk to the Glanum Ruins and St. Paul Monastery (both of which are very much worth a visit). The rooms are sizable by European taandards and the hotel features an attractive courtyard... More
