We just returned from a 3 week vacation in France and we stayed at both the Mas des Romarins in Gordes and then Mas des Carassins in St.Remy. We would agree that the location in Gordes puts St Remy to shame. The scenic beauty of Gordes which we could see from our room window was stunning. We absolutely thought we... More

We also stayed at the sister property in Gordes, Mas des Romarins, and I must admit that I liked the hotel and the area around Gordes more than Mas des Carassins and St. Remy. Hence, if one has a limited time in Provence, say less than a week, and one wants to do a home base, I would highly recommend... More

We stayed in one of the ground floor rooms with patio. The room was tiny and like the previous reviewer, we found the air con too loud to sleep with (it was a unit stuck to the wall) but when we swiched it off the room immediately turned back into a furnace. We ended up with virtually no sleep and... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in June 2006. We had a ground level room with a private entrance and patio area. The room was nicely decorated and the grounds were indeed very pretty as shown in the pictures on the hotel's website. Although we were planning to eat dinner at the hotel one night,... More

We just spent 10 days in Provence and found the Mas to be everything that other travelers rated it to be. We went with a deluxe room and found it to be comfortable, clean and attractive. Suggestions for local dining were appreciated and they helped make the reservations. The grounds were well taken care of and the dining terrace both serene... More

We stayed at the Mas for six days in May. While the location, facilities, grounds are as described by other clients, we did have some reservations that perhaps this hotel may be starting to slip. The walls of our room were in need of a coat of paint and we would have thought this would have been done in the... More

My firends and I stayed here three nights during the week before Easter in April. Le Mas des Carassins is an outstanding hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hotel is very well managed by owners who pay attention to every detail (for example, the grounds around the hotel are kept in impeccable condition). The rates are very... More

We stayed 4 nights at Le Mas des Carassins and found the hotel to be very charming and comfortable. Bathroom was well appointed, clean, modern, lovely and the bedroom was also charming, very clean with a lovely view. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had two dinners at the hotel that were delicious and top quality as well... More

We stayed at the Mas Des Carassins for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. The staff was incredible - very helpful, attentive to your needs. We booked the La Jasse room. It had a loft, a glass enclosed patio and an outside patio. The grounds were lovely, with a swimming pool (not in use at this time), a lattice with... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay at Le Mas Des Carassins Hotel. The room and bathroom was well appointed (a touch tight as you expect in France). Our room opened up to a closed off patio that we had wine and apps every evening before dinner. The hotel is minutes from town and a great base to explore Provence.... More
