A slice of Provencal paradise. I felt like I was in the Peter Mayle book “A year in Provence”. Our host Jordanne was wonderful and we loved having breakfast under the vines al fresco. The decor is tasteful and the accommodations and bathrooms clean and perfect. Thank you!

Sorry for the delay in our review. Ron and I loved staying in the gite/cabanon at Mas de la Croix. Jordane and Raphael and Charles (their son) were very helpful, friendly and accommodating in every way. When it was pouring rain, Jordane appeared with a huge umbrella for us and when our train tickets were cancelled because of the strike, she spent hours trying to help us on the internet. (we finally drove to the Avignon train station to deal with it...). Charles brought us some delicious fig jam that he had made and olive oil from their trees. We enjoyed our daily walks into St.Remy along a little canal and it was so lovely to be out of town and yet about a 10 minute walk into St.Remy. Gorgeous and peaceful surroundings. They are such wonderful people and make you feel right at home. Ron and I are planning another trip and we will stay there again. I am also planning a trip with my sister and am so happy not to have to search for a place again. Mas D'Arles is our St.Remy location for the future. Thank you Jordane, Raphael and Charles....and the dog !! We hope you remember us...we will return. Patty & Ron, Vancouver, Canada

I stayed in the studio for a week and would recommend it highly. The studio is spacious and well equipped. My hosts were very helpful and welcoming. It's just a short walk into St Remy de Provence and the grand randonee into the Alpilles runs past the property.

We stayed in the cabanon this time which is a charming one bed with kitchenette and shower room. It is an old building with stone walls and filled with character. It is also very warm with plenty of hot water. We loved our terrace with magnificent views of the Alpilles. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts very welcoming. Recommend.

We just had a one night stay whilst visiting St Remy. We were welcomed like friends on arrival and really appreciated a quick dip in the pool to cool off. We were then invited to join Jordane and her son Charles for a walk into the town (along the canal) who were going to a local evening wine and produce 'tasting' event, which was lovely. The next morning we were reluctant to leave the wonderful and peaceful garden. The house and surroundings are lovely, beautifully renovated and very clean, lovingly looked after by the family. Would definitely recommend this as a lovely place to stay.

We stayed in the studio for 10 days. It is a delightful, renovated stone bedsit comprising a good sized room with a kitchenette, small extension table and chairs, and lounge area at one end and the bed at the other and a separate bathroom. It is set in a charming garden adjacent to olive trees, a small fruit orchard and grape vines which forms part of the beautiful farm of the hosts, Jordane and Raphael. We loved the view, with the mountains in the distance, sunrise or sunset and although it was early spring and coolish temperatures, we enjoyed sitting in the sun at the table and chairs Jordane set up for us in the garden nearby, for a glass of wine or a late breakfast. The 15 minute walk into the gorgeous town of Saint Remy de Provence was a pleasant, easy wander along a canal and very pretty, and a great way to start the day, for fresh croissants, a baguette etc. My husband loved going for a run along the canal in the opposite direction, taking Etyan, the friendly family dog, with him. We found the farm the perfect place from which to explore the various regions of Provence, enjoying numerous day trips to Arles, Avignon, Loumarin, Bonnieux, Les Baux, Eygalieres, Mausanne, Aix en Provence, Sault, Isle sur la Sourge and Mont Ventoux. We tended to follow the guide Jordane gave us for local market days and she was very helpful in her suggestions, especially for our trip to Arles, where she met us to show us a particular stall I wanted to see. I also loved a morning walk with Jordane into Saint Remy to discover little hidden away shops, followed by an aperitif at midday, while Raphael and their son Charles took my husband wine tasting at a local estate. We were treated to aperatifs one evening and a beautiful bbq on our final night, christening Raphael's newly installed gas bbq! I'm sure if you'd prefer total solitude, the hosts would leave you to your own devices, but for us, it was perfect, as I was keen to practise my beginners French and the family speak English. For us, it was everything we had hoped for in a long awaited trip to France. It was clean and comfortable, charming and reasonable, and we can't wait to share this little gem with all our friends and family back home. We are already planning a return trip and hopefully we won't have to wait too long!

We also stayed at Mas de la Croix d'Arles, in the farm house, for 5 days in late September, 2014. The hospitality shown by Jordane and her family was unforgettable, along with the much needed local knowledge provided to us. The amenities and location of the Mas were absolutely perfect for my husband and I. We look forward to a return visit one day!

My wife and I, along with my best friend and his wife, planned a trip to Provence over the past year. We decided St Remy would be an ideal location for our base. Fortunately we decided to book 2 rooms at Mas de la Croix d'Arles. It was pretty much perfect. Arrived 9/25/14 and departed 9/30/14. Jordane (the owner) and her husband were gracious hosts. Location of the B & B was a 15-20 minute walk into town.( Was a bit dark walking back at night). They seemed always ready to help us with whatever we needed. From St Remy we went to Villefranche. On checking into the Welcome Hotel, I discovered that I had left my iPad at the B & B. I called Jordane who promptly got it in the mail and it was at the hotel by Friday. Just an example of how accommodating she was. All of us were in agreement that it was a fantastic visit!

We stayed in the 2 story farm house for a week. It is located within walking distance to St Remy...following the footpath along the canal. There are 2 bedrooms, one larger with double twin/king size bed. The other is a smaller, twin bedded room. There is a separate shower/sink room and a very small WC on this second floor. Another small WC on lower level. The kitchen is wonderful and fully equipped and spacious. Sitting at the table you look out to vineyards, olive trees, fuels and flowers. Frequently the resident dog is looking in awaiting an invitation to come in and hang out. There is a sitting room with tv (French language stations only) The major market day (wed or Thursday..cannot remember) is awesome...all over st remy. Don't miss that. Get you fresh croissants daily and early as they run out early!! The tourist office in st remy is excellent is all ways. Innkeeper Jordane is the best...friendly, helpful, funny, a pleasure. All in all, a great find and experience. We would happily return

We recently spent 2 nights at this b&b and loved it! Jordane is very friendly, fluent in English and her breakfasts are delicious. The property and rooms are pristine - comfortable bed, beautiful grounds, peaceful country setting. The fact that the accommodations are separate from the main house adds to the privacy and feeling of tranquility. It is an enjoyable 10 minute walk to the town center where there are many great restaurants and bars. St. Remy is a great place to spend a few days since it is so central to all the other small towns and villages that make Provence a vacation destination. We highly recommend this b&b!!
