I must admit, I had some concerns after reading a particularly bad review. My concerns were not warranted at all! We had a very large room in the second floor with a queen bed and sitting area. Not a water mark or musty smell in the place. The bathroom was huge and the toiletries unopened. Our room overlooked the tree... More

Among our various stays at Chateaus, this was the largest facility of 20 rooms. Most were occupied, but this did not create crowding or excessive noise. The place is very peaceful, with roomy grounds. The room was spacious and very comfortable. And the place is air conditioned. Breakfast was adaquate.

We were on a 17 day trip to France with our 2 daughters (ages 18 and 23) starting in Paris, then had stops in Bordeaux, Lourdes/Pyrenees, Provence and in Nice. Truly a trip of a lifetime and we were very excited to be staying in a Chateau in Provence. We were well into day 8 when we arrived at the... More

I start with the sole demerit which caused me to downgrade Chateau de Roussan -- the lack of reliable useful WiFi. In fact the only place you can get it reliably is in the second floor Library. Other that that the breakfasts are delicious and offer many choices -- they will even cook your eggs to order. And the rooms... More

The hotel is in a pretty area. We made our trip through a travel agent which I would not recommend. You should not get any food at this hotel. Even breakfast was not very good. The fruit was not ripe, the ham was low quality. The bread was good but they did not make that. The coffee was even bad.... More

I will start this review by setting up how my experience began. First, I had no reservations here. In my travels, I often go whichever way the wind blows, thus rarely plan ahead. This has lead to interesting experiences, sure. This one was no exception. When I arrived in this area, I went to the visitor's center first, to use... More

Chateau Roussan is a unique property located near St. Remy in Provence. The rooms are varied, but all charmingly furnished. There are beautiful public areas including a fascinating library and the garden with its Roman pool takes one back in time. The service is very good and the dining is superb.

No wi-fi in the rooms and other places. They are lying.Wi-fi is only used in the library. We have been stayed four days, the sheets haven't been changed even once. The kitchen... More

We staid with our family in this hotel in May 2015 for a couple of nights. The hotel looks like an old castle out of a fairy tale. The surrounding of the hotel, meaning the park and its property around was not in the best shape and could have been more taken care of. The rooms were a bit smelly... More

We had stayed in this hotel many times over the years before it was renovated, and hoped that they had made a serious effort to keep the soul of that ancient building. Unfortunately it appears they failed. Large spacious room, but no character. Renovation of poor quality, with mildew forming around the tub & the tub enclosure in need of... More
