My husband and I stayed at the chateau for 4 nights in April. It was as lovely as the first time. It is so peaceful there and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Had dinner at the hotel one night and it a was exceptional. Looking forward to our next vacation there.

Stunning grounds, gorgeous old chateau right out of a bygone era. Staff extremely accomodating since we arrived quite late and yet they still set up a table for us in the dining room and served us dinner. Dinner was lovely, nice wine list, staff attentive and very pleasant. Lovely corner room with high ceilings and a very comfortable bed. We... More

The place is indeed a chateau on nice grounds but other wise an unprofessional badly decorated not welcoming hotel. As you drive in the first thing you see is a chain forbidding you to drive to the front and drop your luggage, when you enter no one welcomes you and there is no reception but a side office. We were... More

Wow. What a great hotel. We have been to Provence several times, but this is our first stay at Le Chateau des Alpilles. The place captures you from the minute you drive through the front gate down the long, tree lined drive way towards the Chateau. The grounds are absolutely beautiful--lots of trees, open law, a small creek, tennis courts... More

I can honestly say that this was one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. The service was beyond impeccible, staff were lovely and helpful without being overbearing, the food divine, the grounds stunning. Do a favour and go.

I cannot speak more highly of this fantastic hotel. The grounds are incredible. The best part of this chateau is the staff. They care. I know all of their names and genuinely felt like they wanted to help us make our trip unforgettable. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are beautiful. I believe they just had a major renovation.... More

We were pleased to spend 4 nights in an authentic, unaffected, relaxing chateau, with spectacular grounds. Excellent courteous staff and exceptional, straightforward, consistent french cuisine. The vibe was delightful and we chose to remain for lunches and dinners. As lovely as the photos.

My wife and I stayed for a night while biking through Provence......beautiful setting, great service, and great food. Easy walk into St Remy, which is a beautiful town and a must visit. The owner drove us into St Remy and we walked back after dinner. Pool and grounds very relaxing

I have done my share of travelling, and have stayed in nice hotels in France and other parts of Europe. But I think that the Chateau has to be my all time favorite, The property is spectacular , and the hotel is itself is charming. From the moment we arrived - late afternoon and past lunchtime- the staff went out of... If you are going to ST. Remy de Provence, you will not be disappointed in Le Chateau Des Alpilles. The grounds are beautiful, but more important, the staff was stellar. We chose to eat at the Chateau 2 of our 3 nights. It was all First Class. As to location, St. Remy is a great central point to explore all... More
